Feminism has INDIRECTLY caused:
1. emasculating men
2. shift of science/math to sports in our public education
3. putting animals' rights over human's
4. political correctness and pseudo-equality

what else has it caused? because i'm longing for an Islamic takeover

Could you provide some evidence for these assertions? I don't think feminism has resulted in any of those things, for that matter I don't really think that even if those 3 things have happened that they're necessarily a bad thing.

Rather, my position is that Feminism has made our society stronger, happier, healthier, and richer all around - both in a family wealth sense as well as in an experiential sense.

It doesn't seem to be a good idea to treat 51% of the population as lesser human beings just because they happen to lack a Y chromosome. But then again, I'm sometimes called a radical leftist

Seeing as how it's caused none of those things...no, it is not the "end" for the "west".

I, for one, welcome the end of the West and embrace our new feminist overlords.

You're seeing a lot more science/math coming out of the hardline Islamic nations lately then, are you?

None of his assertions are true, save for 4, which is SOMEWHAT true. Quite a few scientific studies in evolutionary biology have been written off for being mysoginists, even though it simply conducting scientific research into evolutionary bourne gender dimorphism in human.

Feminism in Western countries has somewhat crossed the line in a negative way, given that it seeks to destroy any symbolic hints of not just male-female inequality, but gender differences. It has also become overly enamoured with positive discrimination and anti-science, cultural marxism (it's capitalism's fault!) or conversely right-wing populism (let's halt immigration because Muslims hate Women!) despite there are still real women rights issues in the west like pay discrepency for the same jobs.

Feminism definitely is an important and positive political current in countries where women rights are still quite few, and also still in the West, provided it is free of the whacky pseudo-religious elements.

Don't tell the kids misandry isn't real.

I didn't even notice # 4, somehow :p

I really don't see the bolded part going on. Maybe perhaps in some fringe communities, but certainly not in my everyday life. Certainly no reason to stop advocating for all people being treated the same regardless of gender.

I don't agree with anything in the OP; but there are some valid reasons to dislike feminism. Particularly in the UK they're a bunch moralising super censorers. Ban page three, ban pornography, ban zoo magazine, ban blurred lines. Whatever they feel outraged and offended by they just want to ban it. And thats not even getting near the clueless terms like "the patriarchy" and "rape culture" which is frankly a big steaming pile of horsehockeye.

 This one is by far my favorite.

Hasn't it been the exact opposite? I've been hearing a ton about schools no longer having recesses and kids being allowed to sit out of gym as long as they get a note from the parents.

So the glass ceiling doesn't exist then Quackers? There weren't (and still aren't apparently) disputes over equal pay for females doing the same job as males?

There isn't an issue with an underrepresentation of females in the political systems? Do you think there isn't an issue with female sexuality and how it's interpreted (I.e: A female has sex with more than one man and she's a "Slut" a male has sex with more than one woman and he's a "legend")

There isn't the issue of women being told that what they wear may make them more likely to be raped, and that said advice isn't given to males? There isn't an issue with rape, and how victims (of whom are mostly female but this can also apply to male victims) are often tacitly blamed and shamed?

Just a couple from the top of my head, that pretty much show that the problems feminism discusses exists, regardless if you want to deny patriarchy as a concept.

It's a bit irritating when you take the extreme opinions of a very very few and use that to write off the legitimate concerns of the larger feminist community. Most feminists don't call for the outright ban of anything. They will speak to problematic tropes and how that hurts society, but I doubt you'll very often see them calling for moralizing legislation restricting the media. I consider myself a feminist and I certainly wouldn't.

So, was the tipping point before or after 'raping your wife' became illegal?

Feminism is the end for the west, but not for the reasons proposed. Feminism challenges all socially constructed binaries. Don't for a minute think that east/west is going to escape that critique, you zephyronormative, euruphobic cretins.
