You see why we launched this crusade on the Franks? They attacked and burned our villages many years ago now they do the same to you. We purpose Frankreich divided up into a bunch of smaller kingdoms to prevent them from ever threatening our people again. OOC: Quite nice. I suppose some of the red arrows were hard to see, but it's no major matter. My plan to constantly shuffle around forces to horribly confuse the troop positioning map appears to be working.

We were wrong in our judgements of Wenedia. We propose a far better solution, to make sure that puppets stay puppets - we propose the division of the Frankish realms between Wenedia and the Empire of Gaul to ensure that there no longer exists the potentiality for future conflict.

We weren't planning to postpone the Mediterranean Trading League, but now we propose that the League will start.
OOC: As an explanation to why I failed to carry out some of these diplomatic duties of mine last turn.. I didn't have net connection monday evening and had lectures on tuesday, so I found a very brief 15-minute period on tuesday morning to write orders. Writing them so quickly wasn't good for the substance, and I forgot all about Mediterranean Trading League

It appears we misplaced the relevent communique. With our conditions satisfied we see no reason to oppose the Mediterranean Trade League, and apply for membership as an outer nation.
We are also interested in discussing with fellow League members a solution to the current unrest in Egypt, which is impacting freeflow of goods from Asia to Europe significantly, and believe this is a matter of prime importance for League discussion...
