Das, could you extend the deadline? This late and unfortunate diplomatic development has left me with little idea on how the future is to progress and how I should respond.

I am announcing that I shall quit Gaul. I do not have the time to plan for all the contigencies required for this nation and do not have the energy or time to attempt to save it from a likely doom - a doom caused by the failure of a nation to consider its allies in peace. The treaty has been posted far too close to the deadline, and I cannot, unless given clear response to my diplomacy, act for Gaul.

Well, Gaul had some potential back then.

Quiter! You are perfectly capable of running Gaul, and you know it. If anyone can run Gaul, you can. The only thing that would guarantee Gual's destruction would be you leaving it.

The pounding of the takuapu and the rattling of the mbaraka mingled with the crackling of the great fire. Dancers and ñanderu moved rhythmically around the fire, as the fat of the hunt and the first white corn burned in sacrifice to Our Eternal Great Grandfather. The shamans sang and chanted the songs of praise for Great Grandfather. Gathered around the sacrificial fire were the warriors and holy men of ten tribes, dancing and praying to their heavenly Great Grandfather.
The Grandfathers of the ten tribes emerged from the dwelling where they had deliberated in solitude throughout the day. Together they approached the ring of men and women gathered around the fire. The music seemed to grow louder and the dancing more frenzied as the tribal elders came near. The energy was palpable as the eldest of the Grandfathers entered the midst of the sacred circle and, at last, spoke.
"Ñandeva, Ava, people of the ten tribes," he began, "on this holy day, in the presence of Our Eternal Great Grandfather, here in his city of Ypacarai, where everything is consecrated in his name, we have made a great and momentous decision. No longer will the great grandchildren of Our Eternal Great Grandfather live apart and make war against each other. The elders of the tribes, who are wise and blessed by Our Great Grandfather, have agreed upon a compact to unite our ten tribes into one strong nation. They have chosen as the leader of all Guarani the wise and noble Grandfather of Ypacarai, who Our Eternal Great Grandfather loves well."
With that, the elders of the tribes placed a crown of Huanc silver upon the head of their new leader, and the dancing and chanting resumed more powerful than before.
The rituals and ceremonies lasted through the night. When the sun arose the next morning, and all the songs had been sung, and all the burnt offerings sacrificed to Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother, the people of Ypacarai and the guests from the confederated tribes broke their fast and ate of the wealth of Ypacarai.
Such was the birth of the state of Tavyterã.

You know what? Shut up. Please. Weren't you telling me to stop making out-of-line and mean spirited comments somewhere back? Time is difficult to manage, and since Finmaster posted the treaty so late, I had about 5 hours AT MOST to do orders, eat dinner, do homework, and do whatever else I had to do. You being a multi-millionaire and international relations major, I would think that you of all people would understand that.
Besides being a jerk, you're also a big hypocrite.
@Das: I can stay as Gaul if there is an extended deadline, though I know the possibility of that is slim. However, I will issue one last diplomacy:

Unacceptable. We will only sign peace at pre-Sixth Transpoenic War borders. Cimberland will withdraw from Didonia, but we will not withdraw from our rightfully acquired territory along the Transpoenic coast. Let us remind you that it is not you but us who occupies land.
