Fact 2: You attacked Phoenica
Fact 3: Phoenica is a very large trade partner of most asian nations (and certainly all the ones who would be interested in trading with you).
Fact 4: Your attack on Phoenica has damaged their trading networks and all trade between the Bimarine and the Asian Seas.
You can see how 4 makes 1 invalid, as your actions have damaged asian trade.

But number 4 has been considered by us to be only a temporary setback (ooc: as I've told you before). Khmer, on the other hand, is now working full-time to make it a permanent setback, which confuses us greatly. We do not think the way to improve the trade network between Bimarine area and Asia is to start a continental-wide war.

What you seem to have forgotten is the Phoenicans have established merchentile contacts, placements, contracts and trade routes across Asia, to the profit of both them and native states. This edifice of commerce took them many years to grow, and is now withering from your actions, and will collapse all together with the death of Phoenica - hardly a temperory step-back.

OOC: Firstly you're a bloody Viking. They're Slavs and various Mediterranean types. You don't share a race. Secondly there is no real concept of "Europe" at this time--for as far away as they are from you they may as well be in Asia. Far too many people act far too interconnectedly in this NES already. Only a few powers should actually even be thinking in global--or even continental--terms.
