Kuerig has come out with a 2.0 line of makers. Now make 1-4 cups, instead of just one.

Is that all there is? Is it worth getting a new machine and different cups?

It is worth it to Keurig.

I've been assuming 2.0 came out because 1.0 is close to hitting market saturation, so I'm almost as curious about this as you are.

Keurig doesn't taste great, but my boss buys us cups, so I don't mind having access to free coffee at all. It's better than Tim Horton's too, which isn't saying much.. but yeah, I consume about 2-3 keurig cups a day.

Any good flavours anyone wants to recommend? I usually stick to the home blend (I think that's what it is).. or the rainforest espresso.. or the french vanilla roast

The 1.0 was a single cup machine. The 2.0 makes 1-4 cups. However, the 1.0 k-cups don't wok in the 2.0 series. You have to buy all new.

I note that k-cups usually produce concentrated coffee in with the first drops and a noticeably thinner brew on the last few. So I usually make small cups at the office to make sure I get a better quality brew.

Perhaps, if the machine is designed for brewing 4 cups at once, you could probably get a good concentrated 2 cups out of the machine.

I don't have the foggiest what a k-cup is, but I've got 2 words: Filter Drip.

Sounds like a derogatory term, but anyway, Filter Drip.

That produces much better coffee, but American offices aren't always equipped with the right stuff.

The k-cup is a small plastic cup with instant coffee grounds that produces a single serving (with the associated machine). It can be a bit expensive but is usually used in office environments for on-demand brews and limited cleanup.

Bah...and I thought this thread was going to be about extremely well endowed women...

So, my assumption is probably correct. :D

I know, I was disappointed as well. :(

I kinda miss the percolator in the church's basement. But not enough to try and procure a percolator.
