Fellow Hispanian, may I request that you march to assist me in the field in Transalpine Gaul? Even if only protecting the Hispanian border, it would limit the rebel Caesar's movements greatly.

Command the construction of some sort of military building of your choice that you think will best serve you in mountaneous terrain- be it barracks or javelin range. Coordinate with Titus Lucretius Longus (momo1000) to ensure you are not building the same sort of building.

I have no problem with constructing such a building, provided at least some supplemental funds arrive from other provinces. I would recommend consulting privately on the exact nature of the building. Caesar's spies could be anywhere.

Unfortunately, regarding your other proposals, the issue of men-under-arms in Hispania, either for its' defense or excursions into Gaul, fall solely under my purview. What I mean is that, as praetor and governor, these are my responsibility already. Where it not for the actions of certain other Senators, I would not even need to be asking for such reinforcements. That is, if certain Senators wish to visit me in Hispania and place themselves under my command for its' defense, as a demonstration of piety, I would be more than happy to have them. If a military action is desired from Hispania into Gaul, I would of course accept any of the Overseer's plans regarding such action as my own. Dividing the responsibility between numerous Senators with regards to Hispania is unnecessary though, ne?
