"Hello? Mr. Romanovski? Yes, you are now in Personal Union with Spain! Congratulations!"

It could be worse.

Kim Il Sung, although dead, is still head of state of Best Korea. Well, Eternal President of the Republic, at any rate.

Just as soon as the beloved leader, Kim Il Sung, deigns to give me a phone call in person, I'll report for duty.

But until then, I'll assume that, like all the other Gods I've yet heard of, his continued existence is largely fictitious. Or at most, only existing in the imaginations of people yet living.

Maybe my crazy and filthy peasant genealogy rabble disqualifies me, but I think we have a huge problem on our hands if a large group of people wish to be ruled over by a monarch.

it works well.
The trick is to have them live in another country and only send the grandkids to see how it is going every 2 years or so...

I'm an arrogant womaniser myself. :3

In any case, I admit I'm biased 'cause I'm very much stubbornly monarchist. A childhood in Thailand will do that to you.

I forgot to say, before arriving to spain his personal fortune was about 0€ (Obviously I am exaggerating, his family was almost poor and in bankrupcy), today he has a personal fortune of 2.3 Billion € (American billions, 2300000000 €), while he oficially receives 6 million€/year

Absolutelly agree.

No, I think if the Spanish throne is vacant, we get another war.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

That was funny

Well, you are disqualified indeed.

Do you think we can dig out an ancestor of the French monarch and then forge claims to the Spanish throne?

Afaik from the OP, the throne is not vacant, it will just move to the next in line :) Moreover it seems the entire remaining euro royal families are intermarried with each other, eg the Spanish one has some people from the "Greek" (ie Danish) line, and so on.

I'll take the throne of almost any European country, save for Finland, Bosnia, or Belgium. Granted, I'll have to do all of my autocracying by telecommuting since I have no particular interest in living in Europe.

^I don't think that Finland or Bosnia have royal lines, though. They were released from the respected entities ruling them (Russia and Austria) pretty late in time. I think Norway has a royal family (?).
