More seriously, I'd suspect anyone just due to being a royal to secretly be a total douche unless really good evidence to the contrary.
- I mean they are told to be better than anyone else simply due to their blood
- Actually believing that they are "destined" to be something better is the only way they can justify their privileges to themselves.
- Their job description is pretty much to fool people (public image) and that also means that despite of their royalness they still have to suck up to the common folk - how demeaning

Allegedly they bring in tourist money. It is absolutely unclear how this balances with their costly privileges. If I had to guess I'd say they cost more than they bring in.

^Usually there isn't any large tourist crowd outside Buckinham palace. Most of the tourists even in that region are elsewhere in St James park.

I suppose the tourists for the royal stuff would go to places like that castle outside London.

And of course they still could do so without actual royals. The question is how many people require real royals as impetus to bring money to the UK-table which they otherwise wouldn't.
It is impossible to say. But my gut tells me that the vast majority who visit the UK - want to visit the UK. And not "OMG this place were there are real royals"
