In summary, it goes over every Unique Unit’s characteristic (all 18 of them), all of the United Nations’ Resolutions, Spies, Difficulty Levels, a little Diplomacy info, the Hall of Fame screen, and Map Sizes & Allowed Civilizations.

My personal favorite is the log of events/combat events!!!

What does it mean when you say that a unit has "1-2 First Strikes"? Is there a chance during combat that we get the "extra" first strike, or what?

Awesome! Thanks, Civrules. :goodjob:

One thing I noticed, though:

Greek Phalanx (Melee Unit. Replaces the Standard Spearman):
5 Strength, 1 Movement, 23 Hammers
is that supposed to be such a strange number?

EDIT: Yeah, I guess so. Lots of units have strange numbers like that.

I think that is "Special ability number one: Two first strikes."

Nah, that's a mistake. It is actually 35 hammers. I'll ask TF to fix it for me. :) Thanks for pointing it out.
[EDIT] There's one or two more incorrect hammer #s...
Keshik 50 Hammers.
Skirmisher 25 Hammers.
Fast worker 60 Hammers.
@ oxonian2001 - That should be correct.

Great info :goodjob:

The Ceasefire sounds like it could be exploited to switch units quickly across the world unless I'm mistaken about the exact mechanism.

I've spotted "Shields" being used on that article... ;)

Great stuff though. The Navy Seals look amazing. :)

Well, I've been playing Civ3 for a few years as opposed to Civ4. The "Shield" usage hasn't completely gone away...
But it will. :D

BTW, interesting to see no one is mentioning anything regarding the no Civ limit rule, even on a Duel-sized map. :mischief:

Hey Civrules, thanks for this excellent sum up!

Do you know which of the nine difficulty levels that gives no production or other bonuses to nor the player or computer?

The Praetorians and the Navy Seals seem like great units! After my first game as Rome I think game number 2 is going to have to be America.....

According to a preview, 'Noble' is the no-bonus level.
