Here to say that I am back, and should be for good this time, again. I've been busy with getting ready for college, and with midterms and stuff. Now I don't expect to be real busy until well, college starts for me in the fall. Also, late happy New Years guys!

You'd be surprised how much free time you have in college. Probably more than high school.

Deeeefinitely more. I have like half the class time I had two years ago.

And even if you do go to every class, you still won't be spending nearly as much time in class as you did in high school.

you don't even have to go to class! :D :D :D :D :D

I thought that was what the whole of high school was supposed to be…

Don't waste your college days. I wish I did more stuff when I was an undergrad and could get away with it.

Yes, learn a language, or play videogames, or pick up a hobby, learn how to program. Do something useful, at any rate.

My roommate has 8:30 classes M-F. I don't know how he can do it.

I actually will try to learn Russian someday. I liked this semester, even though it was all grammar and 0 vocabulary and that means that when you gotta write a dialogue in the exam you know how to say something but not the words to. D:

Most importantly, don't take any 8 am classes. It destroys lives.

My favorite semesters were the ones where I could collect all my classes between 8 AM and noon (we didn't have a choice, departmental requirements were often scheduled at 8 or 9 AM), then I had the rest of the day open to do whatever. Fridays were the best, you were done at lunchtime and could do anything.

I've forgotten what working is like.

:old:

:p

Yeah, I know. I sure do miss it.
