For as long as any could remember, there was the 5 Ascendant bloodlines. The Ascendants had been there from the beginning of the Swade civilization, and were always revered. The average Swade was strong but lithe from jungle work, and about 5'6-5'7, and lived around 50 years. The "ascendant" bloodlines however where completely different. They were a Large Muscular people, as tall as 7 feet, and with life span of up to 250 years. They were much smarter than the other Swades. This was beleived to be a sign of their transendance, but modern Science has concluded that they were infact a Mountain people that migrated into the Jungles.
Obordigusu Swade rode in on his Bigjuar(a horse sized Jaguar domesticated for the Ascendants and their Generals. They are capable of large leaps and traveling through the tree tops). The trainers at the SDE camp had summoned him. They had something that might interest him.
In the Bladist religion, their were three levels, normal, Enlightened, and Ascended. Normal people were the peasents and middle class, while Enlightened people were the skilled warriors and the preists. the Ascendants were in a league of their own. This is how it was.
Supervioria Egrani took Obordigusu Swade to the testing grounds. "Why are you taking me here, I know what my soldiers are capable of!" Obordigusu said. Egrani simply said cyrptically "You will know why soon, Master." When they arrived, Egrani turned to Obordigusu, "This is what a regular student can do". She blew a bone whistle, and a Swordsman of Divine Enlightenment leap from the balcony and landed. He ran up, and took out 6 straw dummies, jabiing forward, then backward, then spinning a decapitating one, beforehe drew his second sword and stabbed on through a dummy on his left and one through a dummy on his right.
Obordigusu Swade showed no reaction. "I could do that at the age of 7, and you know i ent through this camp." Egrani just smiled, and blew the whistle a second time.
A second Swordsman of Divine Enlightenment lept from the balony, but this time he rolled when he landed, bringing his sword up through the chin of a dummy, then flipping sideway, drawing a knife and throwing it through the forhead of another one. Light as a feather he pivoted in mid-air, used the knife as a jumping off pointand drew both swords. Upside-down in mid-air, he sliced off both dummies heads, then stuck his swords through the chest of anothe dummy. Without landing he wrapped his legs around the kneck of that dummy, and flippied it backwards, lodging the blades protruding from its chest into the head of the last dummy.
The Swordsman of Divine Elightenment were an intergral part of the Swade soceity. They were the elite of the elite, only the Ascendants were better. They could be Generals if there were no Ascendants interested in the spot, and they owned large fiefs of land. Their basica aramarment was a light armor, enough to stop arrows, but forged flexible for use of their special martail art, Blaret. They had two Swords in an X across their backs, and many knives.
Obordigusu Swade had seen enough but would see more. It would turn out that this "Wilipo" as he was called, had Test score higher than ever before seen, even Obordigusu Swade's! In the Gladiator matches he had never lost. The rumors could not be denied.
In the Book of Prophecy, it was long fortold there would be a "6th" Ascendent Bloodline that would bring glory to the Swade. The legendary 6th would be unsurpassed in skill and mind. He would lead the Swade to the Golden Age, and would Bring Bladism to the world.
Obordigusu Swade couldn't deny it any longer. This "Wilipo" was the mythical 6th. And he had a way for him to prove himself. Oh, did he have a way!

The Ascendant Council looked over the sixth, and was wowed. They had seen him in action as well. He had taken the name Wilipo Chipa, and they filled him in on their plans...
