Sheer curiosity here, but what is the "Mar dei Sospiri"? I can guess that "Mar" means "sea" and "dei" mean "of" from my knowledge of Spanish and French, but the sense of "sospiri" eludes me for now.

Also the first result when you Google "Mar dei sospiri" is this thread. The rest refer to locations in Venice... So, it's map of Venice?

"Mar dei sospiri" is italian language.
Literally it means Sea of Sighs.
Nonetheless I don't know why this map is so called

Yes, it is italian.
The name derives from the role of the sea on the map. The large bays are ideal for bringing destruction from the sea, so you need to contend for the sea to survive.

Is this map compatible with God & Kings expansion, with all the new resources and wonders? It seems like it would be a good map to fight naval wars in.
