[NFP] March Update Video Discussion

IF they make a new season, I'd wish for them to use a slightly different model so they have more time to polish.
I would prefer a smaller pass with polished Economic Victory added, fixed monopolies and corporations, Venice, Berber/Morocco, Iroquis Civs plus a few natural and world wonders, and more graphical improvements for sure. Not sure if I would like to see more Game Mods now.

PS. And redesign Diplomatic Victory and World Congress. This alone is worth a whole DLC.

Wait on the photo with the Nau it shows that Portugal has 14 trade route slots...I dunno where that the game is (Looks like Renaissance) but that seems like quite a bit...could they be able to gain extra trade route slots? Maybe this is just wishful thinking...

Maybe they went Owls and built a bunch of commercial sites to go with their harbors? There are plenty of wonders and great people that give trade routes, too.

The chance for anything Commercial Hub-related is even lower. CHs are countersynergistic with a maritime civ, since you with always prefer a Harbor in any city that can build Harbors.
Not with Owls of Minerva. :mischief:
Maybe Portugal gets the old bonus of gaining a trade route capacity each for both lighthouses and markets in their cities?
The Grocer King needs his markets too. :)

Oh sweet butter biscuits, you're right.

If we assume that this photo here is in the same game that shows the Portuguese Wonder being built, then no. In the shot with the Torre De Belem, you can see a regular Bank.

That is true but they could get a commerce hub/CH building that's cheaper and maybe gives it so that harbors' lighthouses also give +1 trade route slot. 14 trade route slots in the renaissance is pretty high.

Disappointed they didn't fixed Corporations and Monopolies.
As has been said you need to wait for the patch notes to see.

Zombies is not my thing but I understand the marketing reasons to go it for it.

Portugal is cool, would much rather that than some obscure civilization (unlike most of you lol).

NFP overall has been pretty good, I fully expect Season 2 of NFP to be announced this summer.

Hmm yeah that's true. 14 Trade Routes in Renaissance is pretty ridiculous. But now since unique CH is out of the question, we know that it must be from either Portugal or Joao's ability.

YES. This is my fever dream and would be easy for them to implement. Plus, I would love to have a Venice-y double trade routes in Civ VI.

Is everyone just ignoring the fact that we know what Joao III's Background Art is? It's the thumbnail of the video, for goodness' sake. :P

Yeah, people nowadays can't help but speculate for upcoming content. If you don't say anything, you're only furthering the hype train, which will result in a lot of people getting hugely disappointed if you ultimately say "yeah, that was the piece of last content".

The more they put off that disclaimer that they're done with Civ VI, the more I think they're actually gonna continue with another Pass.

which is the case in every single update video.
Which no one seems to mention, for some reason.

I so hope you're right, but we'll see.

Obligatory 8x upscale beyond recognition:
