Check post #26Where did the confirmation of Feitoria come from? None of the achievements I recall mentioned it... or did i miss it somehow.

IF they make a new season, I'd wish for them to use a slightly different model so they have more time to polish.Actually, I am surprised how many people demanding a new season pass in comments. Perhaps, perhaps...
Every 2 months would make these better.IF they make a new season, I'd wish for them to use a slightly different model so they have more time to polish.
In the one place we've seen a Portuguese ship be able to build a Feitoria, it wasn't adjacent to a luxury resource, and showed up as buildable.I suspect you will just place the Feitoria on a coast-adjacent luxury resource, and it gives you a copy of it in your capital.
The sea trading post is interesting - if it does function as a trading post, that can prevent the situation where you've found the other half of the world but no-one's built a near enough coastal city with a harbor on either your side of the world or theirs - since each ship gets at least two builds, you can ensure an ability to get a trade route to the other side of the world without giving Portugal a boring flat "extra trade route distance over water"-type bonusI will assume that this is a unique "sea trading post - fort" on neutral territory. Collects taxes from the routes of other civilizations and gives protection to its ships. What do you think? I think this is interesting
That would be pretty interesting. I'd also like if they interacted with Luxury Resources in some way, though. The sea trading post is interesting - if it does function as a trading post, that can prevent the situation where you've found the other half of the world but no-one's built a near enough coastal city with a harbor on either your side of the world or theirs - since each ship gets at least two builds, you can ensure an ability to get a trade route to the other side of the world without giving Portugal a boring flat "extra trade route distance over water"-type bonus
This is what I meant. Thank you for taking my thought further.
Maybe Trade routes can get a multiplier for going thru a Feitoria which is stronger than the going-thru-a-trading-post bonus, and the multiplier bonus is further increased if there's a luxury nearby, and you own the luxury? not sure tho. That would be pretty interesting. I'd also like if they interacted with Luxury Resources in some way, though.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_III_of_PortugalI'm still not sure why they went with Joao III. He's gonna end up looking a lot like Philip II, even if he has a hat and whatnot.
It must be for gameplay/ability reasons.
Well then I'm not sure. A Seaport would be too late. I wonder if they could get a unique Stock Exchange considering we saw a regular market and bank in a Commercial Hub?1:32 There is indeed a Shipyard that doesn't look unique.
Portugal -- good.
... Two big misses on the game-modes that if this is end of life for Civ VI development, were big misses.
1. Ideologies -- similar to BNW on Civ V -- the formation of blocs and pacts
2. Revolutions -- almost got there with dramatic ages, but instead of forming non-aligned free cities, actually forming new civilizations.
.
Nope, it is something else completely. The scene where the Belem Tower is constructed shows a normal Harbor next to the Portuguese palace. To be fair they could get a unique shipyard as well as the unique improvement. I think I only saw a lighthouse building in a Portuguese harbor.
Yeah you are right. See above where I think maybe a unique Stock Exchange is a possibility.Nope, it is something else completely. The scene where the Belem Tower is constructed shows a normal Harbor next to the Portuguese palace.
Looks like a regular Commercial Hub at 1:32 with a market and bank.I'm still gunning for a unique commerce hub for Portugal or at the very least a unique market with +1 trade route slot/allows for +1 trade route slot with the lighthouse.
