Yes this is the map. When I took the pictures in World Builder it came in .tga form strangely enough. Anyways, this is only my first attempt at the map. There were a couple of mistakes made by me, firstly that rice resource in Bengal sits on a floodplain, that was not my intention as I wanted the rice to be farmed early on. Secondly the floodplain near the Thar was an oversight on my part, that would be desert. I stand by the extra tiles India receives, as it stands, India is not big enough to handle three civs and the mega armies of the Europeans. There are no 'peaks' in North East India and the Eastern Himalayas are generally shorter than the Western Himalayas. Furthermore, india and China have fought wars around Ladakh since the Sikh empire's time when they invaded Western Tibet. I decided to replicate the possibility of Indo-Chinese wars around Ladakh by making mountain passes over there.
Gujarat is the centre of Indian dairy industry, hence the Cows. Now ideally it should be a spawn resource rather than one from the start, but I don't know how that's done so I kept the dairy as it is. The Extra gold was a mistake too, and I do not intend to keep the iron near Varanasi. There are only two major iron producing centres in India, one is in Orissa and the other is in Gujarat. The coal is spread around the Chota Nagpur plateau. Southern India is hilly representing the Western Ghats and the Deccan plateau. Besides it helps Southern India with extra hammers.
I gave 'Punj'Ab' Five rivers
. besides this makes Takshashila better defended. SriNagar can be settled in this map as well and gives the player saffron. Now the other change I forgot to make was the fish resource near Gujarat which should be present, as the western coast around Maharashtra had prolific fishing before the cities came up around the coast. Raigarh district for instance grew prosperous on trading and sustained itself through fishing. Fish should be present there from the start, in addition to the fish and corn which spawns later.
