Maya: Tales of the Ancients

Unfortunately RFC is modded so that the Mayans don't get techs as fast as some other civs after a certain point. Gunpowder and paper take a while to learn.

Also, if we do lose to Europeans when they come, then I will just make the ending as tragic as I could make it

Option 2

Option 1 I would recommend two things, spam defensive units in your cities so that if all Europeans converge on one city you an just send all your other cities' defenders to that city. The other thing I would recommend is spamming the strongest naval unit. Probably the galley because I don't know if the trireme would have any advantage over galleons and the like. Just spam those ships until you get gunpowder so you can build musketmen.

Option 1 I'm not sure how effective holkans will be against muskets... At least archers get a bonus for city and hills defense.

Nice bump. :goodjob:

Noob, are you planning on updating this? I totally understand if you don't because that's what I do all the time. :D

Pacal II's scientists had came to him with the secret of a new substance called paper, which could be written on and colored. Pacal thought this was interesting, and suggested the thought that it could be used for trading maps with other civilizations.

With this in mind, he had traveled south to Inca to meet with Huayna Capac, and he made a deal for their world map for 15 gold pieces. It was a fair trade, and now Maya could see much more land of the great land to the south.

But then... it happened.

Umh... cancel spain in worldbuilder and then say that it was an asteroid...?

An asteroid should leave a sizeable crater at least.
