Medieval European Mod II 2016-10-05

It did end up taking 4-5 months. To me that felt as a pretty long time. But I guess that if you compare it to some other mods (LOTM?;)) it was pretty fast.

I think four to five months is nothing really, especially for a mod of this size. Each of my scenarios took a lot longer than that even without counting all the later corrections, tweaks, patches, and whatnot.

Well we had the advantedge of being three (ED counts as two) people testing and working on it. Besides this version does obviously not include later corrections, tweaks, patches, and whatnot. ;)
 
I think that depends on your working process. One thing is having a forum to meet and discuss everything in, another thing is to work everything out on instant messaging, when you even live in the same time zones. Besides two people are only one more than one, so decisionmaking isn't really slowed that much down in the first place.
 
Wow an hour ago I came across the best pedia Ive ever seen around then, there were 18 copys spread around the world. Now Ive had a good supper sat back down and see 32 copies dotting the globe. Congrats! Men This is just an unbelievable day for us all :cry:
 
Well, I`m playing as the Danes on a random map and I`m having loads of fun! :D The mod is very easy going, I feel very relaxed while playing it :) Altho I did spend half an hour going around the bloody mountains like in WH, only to get backstabed by the bloody French coming over the bloody mountains! I had to pillage everything within Paris` radius to make them gain some sense..

I did get a few FATAL ERROR!s and Application Error!s when opening the Pedia or the Diplomacy screen.. Anyone else has this?
 
Downloading right now, probably won't get to play until late, late Friday night. Looks awesome though. :thumbsup:

No I never flipped through the entire book so I coulda missed them. Im guessing you mean the old to many resources assigned to units error that you see in Rise n Rule, WArhammer Balancer or any mega unit game. Thats a good sign of much content! and cool cuz all ya do is press the button till its gone. Oh, but just not to fast!! I swear sometimes that can make it crash!

btw Nice talkin to ya again Mr Stormy :)

Just a note: from my last count of 32, 6 more copies have setup location in various nations :smoke: (OK thats the last update from me on that front)
 
one of the best mods for Civ 3 ever you and mrtn are the best of the best when it comes to mod makeing

That's not good but I can't reproduce it. Everything is linked fine and I can go through every single pedia entry without an error (and there's PiC that ensures that every pedia entry is correct). There's even no hyperlink limit exceeded error when you click on resource, so I really have no idea what's going on there! :( Can anyone else sweep through the pedia and see if you encounter any problems?
 
Just started playing and all I can say is wow! I have waited a long time to see such a mod come out.

Small question: I started playing with the Byzantine and I noticed you start with a princess on top of a victory location. So basicaly, I can rescue my princess by turn 5 when i build my first unit. Is it normal or did I just screwed up the options in the menu? Is this game supposed to be played with princess?

It checks out fine. May I ask why you thought us so worthy as to award us with proper full discriptions of even singel thing in the game ! Even down to the units and Im not talkin generic discipts tailered to fit for every flavour of sword, infantry, pike, etc. These entrys are all custum fit!!. Its unparrelled!!. This should be taught in the classrooms This is sensational. Im leaving you guys in my last testament.

Oh but If you want something now, a few missing entrys in the tech dept is all I could find: Navel tactics, New World and of course all the "Traditon techs" Sorry thats all. :goodjob:

I never tried it with a princess, so I can't give a definite answer, but it atleast plays fine without it. :blush:
