Thank you everyone!:) Thank you Thunderfall and everyone at CFC who voted for me.:) I don't know what to say...I can't believe that I'm a mod. I hope I won't disappoint you guys too much because I don't really know how to use my mod power yet.;) My first task, I'm going to go clean up my PM box now...suddenly it's flooded with new messages.

If your talking about Aeson/Moonsinger. I've seen Aeson in the GOTM results several times and I've seen acouple posts from him.... though he normally posts in the HOF/GOTM forums (I guess) and I normally don't check those.

Moonsinger I've also seen in the GOTM results several times, but don't remember any posts by her (intill the one above) though according to TF we both check seemingly the same forums. (Strategy, Creation, and General Discussions).

Edit: Just checked the Strat forum... and I saw several posts by her.... alot of which are in threads I've posted in.... So I guess I just missed her.

Talk to Donovan Zoi. IIRC, the fact that he became a demogame moderator took him by suprise as well. :)

........THANKS for taking over the HOF. :goodjob: :goodjob:

Of course, WE players are the WINNERS here as both "Moo.." & "Jason" are T O P WORLD-CLASS players and strategy mentors.

Thank you BOTH for giving of your time...............I only hope your marital status, child count, real-life-job satisfaction AND HIGH Civ III interest remains constant for years to come!!? :D

AND, if both of you don't have the time to play high-scoring games for HOF.......don't feel bad, WE WON'T!!! (Just Joking, of course!)

Finally, thanks to Thunderfall for assigning a high priority to HOF.

Yeah, it can get into your keyboard. But a couple belts of Getleman Jack before logging on is often needed.
    Congratulations and comiserations to Moonsinger.

Always? Like, when you're shopping? Or redecorating the house? Or deciding what to name the new kitten? ;) :mischief:

I went into shock mode for 1/2 an hr when I got my 'Congrats! You're a mod!' PM...

And then I spent the next few weeks fumbling around with the controls. Fortunately I didn't ban anyone by accident... I think. :mischief:

    Don't worry - you'll live. :) :p

Congratualations and felicitations. (One does not congratuale a bride, you wish her happy). Likely the same point of etiquite should apply here.

One congratulates the groom for achieving success in attracting the bride, but not the bride for accepting the groom. Although marriage and accepting modship may or may not be an appropriate analogy.

Does this mean the General Discussion Forum may actually, from time to time, discuss Generals?
