Most Overrated Games

Actually, Super Mario Sunshine is not overrated, it deserves its 9.4/10s. Super Mario Galaxy is overrated, but it is still better than Super Mario Sunshine.

I think I might enjoy Wind Waker more than Twilight Princess. And next thing you know, I'm going to get Ocarina of Time when I have Wi-Fi access (or, if I'm lucky, I can borrow Master Quest from my counsins) and like it the most.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is underrated by the critics, but it is overrated by a good mob of people who think it is a great game. It's okay, maybe average. But it doesn't stand among the GameCube's best.

Another example of a game that is overrated by most gamers but given a nice rating by critics is...any Smash Bros. game.

In comparison to a lot of TBS games (including civ1,2,3), Civ4 is more complicated; that can be a good thing or a bad thing.

The adding of spies in BTS killed it for me. It got way to complex, the game was no longer fun.

1. um, have you played super mario 64? After that, yes, Super mario sunshine IS a total letdown and is overrated.

You obviously don't have any friends, because there is no game I'd rather play that SSB with 3 friends.

One game that I been told is severely overrated is Bioshock, especially when compared to Halo 3.

Seriously? They were just cell-shaded graphics. You can't just discard them as being kiddy. They were really quite good looknig and allowed facial expressions to really be utilized.

I wouldn't usually say this, but prince is chicken feed And compared to which game, really? I played some really difficult games, and Civ4 does not pale in comparison.

That is ironic. I would have phrased it, "Halo 3 is severely overrated, especially when compared to BioShock."
