I didn't read the whole story but I would say to replace all the players not willing to use PBEMtracker and carry on.

Ok here is what is happening. MNGs spot will be taken over by Kiwitt. rd13 stays as I cant tell if he is holding up the game or remember him holding it up.

@Kiwitt check your PMs. It would be great you could take over the bath-2 tracker account so we know were the game is. I think Bathsheba created that one so we could get the game on there.

Seems I forgot the default admin pw for pbems. Some one please tell me so I can modify the save.

If you cannot remember what you set it to, we're stuck.

Never set an admin pw but I had to reset a pw when we lost Para. I searched the thread and net but I cant find anything.

OK, we have a fresh save with an admin password, sent to Michkov.

The best solution is if the new guy gets a pbemtracker account, and then we can ask Matt to replace my proxy (bath2) with the new actual account.

While we are waiting for that to happen, I can certainly redirect emails from my proxy to the new guy's email address, as soon as someone tells me what the new address is.



I just pinged Kiwitt to request his email address, for the request to Matt - and I realise Kiwitt already has a pbemtracker acount.

Some thing strange occured... I did not get an email with the file from PBEMtracker as usual... by chance I went to the tracker (due to another game) and it said it was my turn... strange...

I received a file from PBEMtracker today... I thought "Great! It's working!" and I opened the file... but when I opened I had a dejavú feeling... it was the same file as before!

I went to the Tracker and it says "is Mayic's turn"!

So I received an email today regarding a file that was available 2 days ago... maybe this has occured all along? It's possible as I never went there. It could be that there is a gap of time between the upload of the file and the email being sent? Does anyone know of other cases like this?

No, that is not normal. Not heard of this before.
The emails going missing is always possible, pbemtracker or otherwise.


I checked, and there seems to be a download available for Mayic.

I used to get warnings from Norton that my pbemtracker email receipts were spam and blocked, but I seem to have trained it to stop doing this.
