1) We agree with France on the matter. Agression is not the aim of the Entente and as such we will not aid in any agressive moves.
2) Portugese and Spanish admission Britain views as acceptable. The admission of more nations only ensures peace through incorporation.

OOC: There's no more tariffs anymore I think. In the update, the last part about Mexico it talks about how the last great tarriff barriers in the world were broken down

I interpreted that to mean trade barriers between Texas, Mexico and UCC, not world wide, hence our cities' surge in growth. Goodwill, sharing of ports for fleets, industrial cooperation, trade agreements to meet specific needs of member nations. Shifting of industry to meet labor needs. There are lots of ways such an agreement could benefit members.Captain2 said:

AND ONE MORE TIME: The TPTA would be a place to settle trade disputes that mightr arise over, say fishing rights. The group could settle internal disputes amicably or be a voice when non member nations and members squabble over economic issues.
And the downside? Members would be less inclined to engage in war with one another.

When you grow your economy by using all of your trade centers, it doesnt mean that you are growing it by just one point, it will grow by more, or randomly a trade center will grow. That said grow economy or conquer more. Altough random unrelated events can happen too.
