Man enough? idk about that.... all I know is that the first video game system I ever got to play was the N64. Though I think over at a friends house I played Duck Hunt once, don't remember what system it was for.

What? The N64 was awesome! Most of the games that I played back in the 90's are still fun to play, from Mario Kart, to Donkey Kong, to Goldeneye. They were all great!
I could never get into the full-3D platformers like Mario 64 and Donkey Kong 64.

Mario Kart 64, by the way, was essentially identical to Super Mario Kart, its genius forefather.

Did anyone think that we where talking about Never Ending Stories, after seeing the title? I know, I need a life.

You might be better off than those of us who have to take ten minutes cleaning our vintage consoles before we can play a twenty-year-old two-player game with bad graphics. And get Nintendo thumb.

BUBBLE BOBBLE FOREVER FOOLS

A Link to the Past
Super Mario Kart

SNES

NES

Mario (of 3 kids, I was the only one to beat it), Marble Madness, Duckhunt, Bubble Bobble, Back to the Future, X-Men - lots of games I enjoyed playing.

But I played NES far more than SNES. We never had an SNES (our family went from NES -> N64) and I only got to play it when I was babysitting.

I never had either, I had a mega drive, Commodore 64 and the Amiga

SNES has everything the NES has and more and better. The only real advantage NES has over SNES is Mario, whose first 3 incarnations are far superior to anything prior or since. But the SNES has all NES Mario games on one single cartridge -- with the ability to save games!!!!

Therefore, SNES wins.

Yeah, I can't really think of an NES winner besides the Mario games. Zelda was okay, but it was a little bit repetitive due to technical limitations. Its SNES sequel was infinitely superior in atmosphere and fun.

Punch Out! was good, I guess.

Super Punch Out! on the SNES is one of the best boxing games ever!

The NES was better considering there was nothing that could seriously compete with it back then.

The SNES competed heavily with the sega megadrive. Also, the amiga was at it's peak back then and the PC gaming was on the rise.

lol, the ps1 had load times and bad 3D. It marked the beginning of two terrible trends.

The N64 was weak, how many games does it have that are still fun now? Three?

At least twenty.

SNES by a mile or two. I can't think of a console that has had a better collection of rpgs.
