NESLife attempt #3

@North King, thankyou, that evolution looks cool! Seems that Lord Iggy's symbiotic plants would like to work with that.

If you want flowers, could I switch one gene from carpeting to 'nectar'? I'm not sure flowers should be counted under 'symbiosis' as we have it, which has so far been for two organisms actually joining together somehow

Works with me. I always imagined the bathys line as being more colony than quite an integrated organism, but I suppose flowers merit a gene or two.

Fun little evolution thing I did in Spore...

Mmm, french fries (see last evolution's "tail").

I'm just going to ignore the stupid "fire is necessary" argument.

Guess what, I really doubt I will be able to update tommorrow :trophy:. Then I'm going away to Scotland for a few days.

If that upsets anyone, please remember that I have put countless hours into this over the past year and a bit, and I do not plan to stop until we have sentient creatures appearing, even if it takes another year or two :)

Screw scotland, we're more fun :p

Some time passed........................................

Any news on how long until an update?

Time for a poke :)

Finally, a little progress. I believe this is all the player evolutions for this turn:

I know some of you had your own ideas for how things should look, but I find it very difficult to draw something (especially an animal) based on text description, I just know its not going to end up how the other person envisioned :( If you could post your own basic sketch, no matter how basic it is, I could probably get a better idea. I'm willing to re-draw some of these things.

Also, I didn't want to make things too different from previous evolutions. For North King's Blisstower especially, the minaret spiral shape had already been busted by my NPC interval. It could evolve back to that shape but I didn't think it should happen straight away...

As for when the actual update will be posted, I still have several NPC evolutions to draw, plus I plan to get Spore tomorrow, so I can't say :)

The Galorex looks awesome, and very much like I'd envisioned it! Bravo!
Intrude: Sorry to say it, but the bottom-right limb looks suggestive, to say the least.

Correction on spelling I used the actual Latin word for wolf, Lupus, rather than Lupivus which has no meaning as far as I know in real life. The Lupus Argentum looks great!

Aww, it looks so nice! A little shorter than I imagine, but that could be explained by way of it being larger -- and thus thicker.

Well essentially with mine I want a jellyfish except some of the trendril stings have thickened to form legs... so if you could squish its main body more, and place it all atop the legs..

But, really its all amazing so go with it! :)
