@ilteroi

I haven't played for one year, and back then AI melee units didn't have this problem. Back then they did attack the city - but somewhere among all the' patching' the AI meele units stoped attacking cities all together.

The city iin my screenshot is almost down to half of it's strength and still the melee units just 'hang around'. I mean I had an low health slinger in my city with no walls, and the ai had one trireme, 2-3 spearmen - within just a few turns the city would had fallen.

When it comes to naval units it's the same pattern. I kill them off because these units just 'hang around'.

I mean when I last played, when the AI approached with it's navy, it was extremely difficult to withstand such an attack (no matter if you had walls/castle/arsenal!). One had to have a bounch of ranged units to be able to defend the city from land. Again things have gone wrong somewhere in the patching of the AI.
Same here, I had one of my cities surrounded by naval ranged and melee units, siege units, mounted units and melee units, but because I pick off the siege units one by one they never attempt to damage the city with any other unit, especially if I slightly damage the ships every now and then.

What do the modders specifcally need on this issue? i can send them logs/ feedback to troubleshoot? AI seems to retreat more if your stronger ive been in situations before where ive lost cities to the ai being aggressive. some AI are too far away to fight and they send a couple of Melee ships too and they dont do much damage even to other ai However ive seen in my latest game Egypt has completly conquered Netherlands, ive decided to liberate them because i got bored and egypt AI are just walkovers no fighting at all (being a few techs ahead of the AI Egypt just gave up for bieng conquerers i expect a better fight
Make/contribute to a GitHub issue with save-games and the logs folder. Remember to turn logging on otherwise your logs folder will be useless.

Otherwise, feedback on the forums will likely be ignored.

Yes. if restart map generation few times Later in game its fine.
Thank you for replying. Unfortunately I don't understand what u mean. Do you know a way to fix it? Early game is ok, end game even opening tech tree crashes me to desktop. I played 3 games with the previous version (without the file on page 17) and was super smooth

Is this intended or should I report to Github? Peace deal value is -1 when trading specific cities. Other cities have normal values.

The AI does not take into account the peculiarity of the enemy vassal's open borders when it is about to surprise the overlord. It does not take into account that the borders will automatically be closed.

Accidentally noticed several units of Persia in China. I bought an Explorer and ran to clarify the situation - there were a lot of units there. On the same day, Persia declared war on me and its troops were forced out of China into the territory of the city-state and into the sea. This army was blocked and destroyed by China right on the spot in 3 turns. This should not be.

You should report it on GitHub with a save file so that it can be acknowledged and eventually fixed by the devs.

In 'Diplomacy overview' window, deal history, I have all entries void. Anyone is experiencing that issue?View attachment 643671
Last time I checked I had the same problem. You should probably post a save and ask if other people have the same problem on their PC, to se if it is a problem with your install (eventually).

Why do advisers recommend building the East India Company in St. Petersburg instead of Yakutsk?

Within the radius of St. Petersburg there are: Jade, Gems - already have monopoly on Gems
In the radius of Yakutsk there are: Crabs, Tobacco Jade

Built in Yakutsk, got +1 Jade and Tobacco, but Crabs were not added (previously, all hexes with these resources were switched to Yakutsk)

As a note as well, you can hover your cursor over the city name on the main map to see what resources it's contributing. It can get a little uncertain when you have overlapping cities, and you want to make sure the city that is working it actually is counting towards contributions.

This is also useful if you have resources outside the 3 tile reach that you want to double.

Oh how, did not pay attention to such details of information about the city.

In an early version of Vox Populi, it was possible to see all luxury resources in the tooltip (also import/export) when hovering over GPT (or happiness). Now I cannot find this visual list in any way. You have to hover over your leader and calculate resources through the list of deals. Well, or go deep into the window of the economy, which is not convenient.

You can still see them if you hover over one of the icons on the top right panel (where details about your strategic resources etc are shown). Try hovering over either the star icon or the icon that looks like city connections (not sure which one shows it off the top of my head but it's there somewhere).

Is there a way that I can modify the happiness to be just a little more forgiving? Or any pointers as to a file I should be looking at? I tried searching the Mods folder for "Happiness" but there's 1390 results...
