NHL CFC Playoffs Pool III

Flames lose again. The way they have been playing I might as well just switch over to a Senators avatar right now, because it's obvious they are out of it.

'Nucks game coming up. It'll define the rest of the series. If the Stars manage to outplay Vancouver like earlier, I don't like our chances. But Vancouver's getting some injured players back, and are well-rested for this game. It'll be a good one.

Canucks win in OT, and the Sens won as well! All I can say is...

Calgary 1 @ Detroit 3 DET leads series 2-0
Ottawa 4 @ Pittsburgh 2 OTT leads series 2-1
Anaheim 2 @ Minnesota 1 ANA leads series 3-0
Vancouver 2 @ Dallas 1 (OT) VAN leads series 2-1

I was away from the TV for the winning goal... darn it.

But then again, I'd rather miss a Canucks goal than see a Dallas goal. :p

And now we get them at the Igloo. Time to have our way with them.

There are more direct ways to let us know you are into S&M...

===================

Look, we came to Pittsburgh to do two things:

1. To drink beer;
2. To kick ass.

Looks like they ran out of beer.

A little CFC history shall we?

East
(1)Buffalo 4 vs. (8)NY Islanders 2
(2)New Jersey 4 vs. (7)Tampa Bay 3
(3)Atlanta 4 vs. (6)NY Rangers 2
(4)Ottawa 2 vs. (5)Pittsburgh 4

West
(1)Detroit 4 vs. (8)Calgary 0
(2)Anaheim 4 vs. (7)Minnesota 2
(3)Vancouver 4 vs. (6)Dallas 3
(4)Nashville 4 vs. (5)San Jose 2

Even Pasi gives the Flames more credit than you :crazyeye:

Predicting a sweep in the West is just as crazy :p

So that makes you really crazy.

Flames lose again. The way they have been playing I might as well just switch over to a Senators avatar right now, because it's obvious they are out of it.

So now my 4 game sweep by Detroit dosent seem all that crazy?

:p

That all depends on whether the Flames can continue their dominance on home ice :p

Quite glad the Nucks won, if there are any two teams I'd like to see in the Cup series (other than the Pens) it would be NJ and Vancouver. Time to settle the Brodeur vs Luongo debate and prove that Brodeur is better.

I dunno, Brodeur let in an iffy one during that last game.

Of course, no goalie is above letting in iffy goals.

Pity that the Devils don't know how to forecheck. :p

damnations!

WAY too many penalties, and vokoun goes from amazing (those 4 rebounds all saved) to crap in less than a period. and out 4-5 penalties didnt help much either.
