Thanks for all the kind words, guys. And I'm glad to see the support for continuing the game, despite the slower pace. 9/12 have already said they will continue (Erik on MSN last night), 1 has opted out and 2 (TerrisH and MadDogOfMI) not yet accounted for. I take that as a yes.

First of all, somehow I seem to have deleted one rather nefarious section of the update. This section would answer some questions I've gotten via PM. I will rewrite and add it during the day, I know what to write so it'll be quick. Answers to PMs will be sent out after that.

Don't worry niklas, your update took quicker than Thlaylis and unlike him you were actually physically ill instead of going on vacations. Your dedication is to be admired

Then again in his defense, his update text is probably about 27 times as long as mine...

What's specifically are you referring to?

Last turn I somehow managed to miss out on half your orders (2 colony ships, research of warpgate synthesis, some more stuff), and then grandly followed that up by missing a PM sent to me asking about it. Anyway, you knew that you had those colony ships so your orders for this turn were unaffected it seems. And as I said, everything should be up to par now.

Also, The orbat at Wolf shouldn't list the colony ship anymore, it was used.

Thanks, fixed. This actually seems to be the most common kind of error I do with the stats...

@Niklas: Yes, if you are willing to put forth the time, I would like to have a bit of an explanation, but if it's too much then don't bother. You've got enough on your plate as it is, and I'm sure I would figure it out eventually.

I can't say I didn't expect this. Sorry to see you go, but I know your motivations for it. I'm sure it won't be hard to find a new player for the U.S.C., though it may not be very easy to find one that you yourself would approve of...

OOC: Oh, one last thing: the Dreadnaughts are for self-defense, because I knew some of you psychos were going to try and push some out this turn and I heard some very nasty rumors. So simply know that we can make more of them than you can if you want to invade.

I wouldn't want any of us to forget about this. That means more than just the mod. There is still room for a story or two before PMs come out. Its a futuristic universe, after all. Plenty of plot potential.

No, not yet. In particular alex likes to keep his part of the map mysterious. I can't say I would be sorry the day I could stop sending individual maps though...

Regarding the USC I will require an at least somewhat experienced player on that position. It's in a quite delicate situation and will require some shrewd diplomacty to handle.
