I'd rather have a town win than a cult.

I was assuming Vader wouldn't actually hit the LOTR cult, and that after we lynched him today we could spend a couple days lynching LOTR players trying to find the last cultist until we had a vote majority.vote: Stuck in Pi
Hm?
SW: Very well, but live with the consequences. Remember, if Vader wins, then SW have lost. Not only have you lost, but the evil have triumphed. Do not betray me now. This is like the movies all over again, everyone coming to the Dark Side "because the Jedi are powerless."
One more time:
Vote for Vader.
What are you talking about? One of the last two factions needs to be eliminated for SW cult win, and I seriously doubt you are the last LOTR townie. Vader needs 4 nights to convert everybody. It will take 5 days to lynch the remaining LOTR town, exactly enough time to convert everyone. So, working from the above:
No, they don't. Vader neglected to point out his victory condition, for obvious reasons.
He can't. Some of you will lose.
If you don't vote for Vader, even if he is telling the truth, that's exactly what you are doing.
In fact, going from Zack's quote, SW Cult wins the game tomorrow morning if you lynch me today, rather than Vader. Welcome to Lynch-or-Lose, people. Any other questions, SW Town, before you throw away the game simply because Darth Vader tells you to?

I may have misread the victory conditions, but at least I'm trying to win for my faction, instead of for myself. If you want to play "Star Wars: The Surrender", that's your business, but I'd far rather play to my faction's victory conditions and come second, than deliberately spin out the game, hoping to be converted, and thus score a personal win.
Otherwise known as "it doesn't matter what happens to me, provided that they all die", right?
there is literally no point in playing to win with my faction
