NotW XLI: Chronomancy Redux [Game Thread]

Okay, this bandwagon on ATPG is rather silly, and reaks of scum. FoS: Most of the people that voted for him. Earthling is spared from this, as he at least managed to give a reason, although I don't know why he thinks ATPG knows something. Save Ferris, you're new, and your behavior could be explained a bit because of that, so I'll only give you the Pinky Finger of Suspicion rather than the normal finger of suspicion, but that doesn't make your voting any less scummy.

What? ATPG doesn't deserve a shield, he's always mafia!

I admit to being the original speaker of that quote, but, in my defense, that was shortly after he'd started playing here, and at the time of that vote, he'd only been innocent once in a previous game and mafia several times, and it was a silly day 1 vote anyway. Now he's been innocent plenty of times, and it's no longer Day 1, so you do not get this excuse.

Ah you've played only two. :D

Well, I don't know if what ATPG's mafia ratio is here on Civ Fanatics, but on the ORG ATPG isn't mafia more than anyone else. Unless I see some numbers, I consider your accusation to be baseless, and too easy to make. Even more now that I know you are using someone else's "argument".

My current stats give him a mafia percentage of about 43%, but they're currently only updated to early in 2010, and only have 7 of the games he played in anyway, which is too small of a sample size to call him mafia more than anyone else. For that matter, I have a couple of other players with few games but mafia percentages that are even higher than that.

But that's all irrelevant anyway.

HEY! HEY! PAY ATTENTION!
Listen up, I've asked a question!
I demand to have a response
How did you know what BSmith wants?
Why did you suddenly decide
To give this person a nice surprise?
Was this planned? Is this a plot?
What sort of answers have you got?
Answer me, or face consequences
You'll need more than shields for your defenses!

Hey, hey. I'm tired of asking.
These may be rhymes, but I'm multi-tasking.
If you're going to ignore me and vote me
Then after I'm dead, answer my :nuke: questions already.

NotW XLI: Night Two - [PHASE 6]

As the argument began to lead in a finite direction, the Spirit Mage AskThePizzaGuy found himself increasingly under pressure for seemingly no reason at all. Though he attempted to fend off the mob with a string of well-organized rhymes that were both entertaining and full of seemingly pressing issues, the crowd was not listening.

Although he had not previously done so, soon the crowd even drew in the Innkeeper's Son Backwards Logic, who also began calling for the death after an impassioned speech by one of the mob members.

There were other crowds of course. The Countess Robbiecon soon was convinced to call for the Hermit's death, despite having seemed relatively sure Abbadon was the culprit up until now.

Alas, peace broke when several of the stronger members pinned the Spirit Mage down and dragged him to the Soul Well, tossing him in as the rest watched. He hit the water with anger on his face and a blast of energy flew up through the bricks, his soul rejoining the energy of the Earth as his water was carried away by the current into unknown waters below.

Spoiler :

The Spirit Mage, AskThePizzaGuy, was Innocent!

There was a long silence as they all contemplated this fact, only broken by the sudden screams of the Engineer GamezRule. The Knight, Harkonnen II, held him by the throat, and announced with conviction in his voice, "Your time has ended demon. May the Order's flames consume your corruption!" before drawing his sword. Before anyone could even move to stop him, golden energy swirled around his blade and he plunged it through his victim.

But the energy did not surge into Gamezrule, and instead dissipated harmlessly, much to the surprise of the Knight. After a few moments, it was clear the GamezRule was dead.

Spoiler :
Gamezrule's soul still remains, and his allegiances are not revealed!

The shocking display ended with the Knight tossing his poor victim to the ground with a frustrated "Hm.", before leaving the gawkers to their thoughts. Silently they headed to their rooms for the night, as Bsmith collected his shield, and Aiolos grabbed the circlet.

It is now NIGHT TWO

Ghost comment: Wow.

You don't even realize how immensely bad that was. Trust me, it was extremely, extremely bad.

BTW the Spirit mage was female, hence the female CHEERLEADER roleplaying....

NotW XLI: Morning Three - [PHASE 7]

Everyone woke early this morning, as the roar of the storm closed in on them. A giant vortex now loomed eeirly close to the city and it would surely reach Hajii by the next morning, if not sooner, where certain death awaited them all.

But there was curiously one who did not make it out to observe the coming doom that morning, and it did not take long to notice that the Savant Arakhor was the only one not present. Looking in his room on the second floor of the inn revealed that he had been nailed to the wall and devoured alive, his eyes a cool lifeless monotone grey.

A simple search of his belongings revealed that
Spoiler :
Arakhor, the Savant, was Innocent!

Everyone looked at each other nervously. The Merchant took a Sturdy Cloak off a coathook in his room after quite a long while, suggesting that it could be voted upon. The Engineer's Dwarven Steel Greaves and the Spirit Mage's Ironwood Staff would. of course, be voted upon as well.

The STurdy Cloak! I have long searched for such a treasure... give them to me!

Have I mentioned I am a Dwarf today? I could use some steel greaves.

I would like to examine the Ironwood Staff, and it could be useful for my treks across the desert. I'll let you guys know what it does if I get it.

As I travel alot due to my job, the sturdy coat would be a good thing.

Post mortem: Damn it. That hurt. :(

These items seem too heavy for a girl like me.

Abbadon, again.

Takhisis, he was a Kuriotates Dwarf like me, so by both nationality and race, the greaves should go to me, Autolycus!.

I want the staff!

My husband Jarrema can have the staff, but I would certainly like to have the Sturdy Cloak to protect my back in these dangerous times.
