As will soon be clear, my explanation of what the item does was entirely accurate. And, as you are well aware, what I've said about your approaching me in private with information unknown to the town is also completely true. So, while I am indubitably a villain here, you are the one with his pants on fire.

What I can't figure out, though, is why you'd lie if you were just a townie. The best I can think of is that you're embarrassed at how your attempt to manipulate me fell apart so quickly. But that then leaves the question of why you approached me in private, rather than doing it publicly.

All you really did was show unattentive people I'm not a demon, when townies already know I'm a townie anyway. Good for you on that. It's just you've made remarkably poor decisions and missed your chance to work for even secondary hopes of victory of this demonic incursion of yours. Ask you to justify to the town why we should focus on the Chronomancers first and you don't, much like BSmith couldn't say a single good word about the Chronomancers, you're both just bad and need to go. You've certainly failed at convincing people Harkonnen is a Chronomancer as that's ridiculous and really your words even helped more people think Autolycus is also town.

Are you really trying to convince us Chronomancy isn't bad? You sound like 'oh, demons are the only evil!' An archæologist would have a lot of interest in going back in time, eh?

I'll grant that Takhisis may be trying to get himself nightkilled if he is town, if so it remains a nice try, but he's been working at cross purposes, going after the wrong cases, and not really helping the townies enough.

WHAT? I'm trying to get myself Nightkilled? How? How about proving your Innocence instead of hogging the thread and casting aspersions on everyone, therefore allowing the remaining scum to blend in and join any vote as they see fit? I keep calling out people who do mere votes and you ignore it while harping on in your usual delusional way.

Except none of that is true Winston, yet again. I didn't give you demons any harmful information or information unknown to the town.

It is telling you didn't even have some lie or cover story prepared to answer my question, which is why you think the town had to kill the Chronomancers first. Of course that was probably a lie is all, there must not be a reason, just scum teams for us to get rid of, and if you had something else to do your loss. You're out of chances on that.

You did waste a lot of effort on meaningless drivel trying to say that Harkonnen was a Chronomancer, I'll grant you that, but nothing else you said helps the town work against the Chronomancers and that doesn't either.

If anything you posted wasn't complete nonsense, I'd respond to it. As you're probably not a demon, as another scum you might not have a standard nightkill to come after me tonight if you dare, I get that, keep up during the day if you must but it won't go anywhere. Though if Winston is any indication his demon buddies might actually be foolish enough to try it.

NotW XLI: Morning Two - [PHASE 16]

The town and its visitors gathered that morning to take a head count, a stifling silence in the air as the Innkeeper rallied off names. Although the count started optimistically, there soon was a gaping silence when the Earth Mage Kennigit's name was called.

Everyone stirred, and then Engineer GamezRule, "Wait, haven't we done this before? Kennigit is dead."

"Yes, we have," replied the Knight, chewing thoughtfully on his tongue. "But what has changed?"

And with that, a sudden thump from behind them revealed the torn and tattered upper half of Quartermaster Autolycus, colorless eyes staring at the town as his torso dripped bloodily.

There was little time to waste. The Quartermaster had a Shimmering Cloak and a Walking Staff, while the Noble possessed a set of Dwarven Iron Armor

I was looking at Harkonnen's stuff during the night... I know, that as a good inkeeper I should not, but I did it for all the good people here.
Harkonnen DO NOT have any suspiciously named items besides those that we gave him ourselves. So, I think that there is good chance of him being innocent. I believe he is not demon, nor chronomacer

I have been quiet, I know this much. But I have talked with people in the afternoon, and found the feelings in their heart. I know what they are really thinking. I can do so again today. The only problem is, I know not what I see until the night has settled in.

I would like the Shimmering Cloak. As a caravan merchant, am I outdoors a lot and in this desert town, I need protection from the sun. Also, it reminds me of my grandmother's cloak.

I would like to have the Dwarven Armour, because, have I mentioned I am a dwarf today? I'm probably the only one the armour would fit anyway.
