We do not wish to be insulted again.

We apologize for our requests. Understand that UCSA has no intention of meddling, but simply advising on what is best. But then again, that is your call. Again, we apologize.

Very well. We will denounce Haynes' fourteen points and the Treaty of Washington as a complete joke. Even so, we hope you'll send your political advisers to help us transition our government. If not we request that several Lowland professors and politicians be allowed to tour in the UCSA to get a better understanding our your government.

OOC: Oh, I see the complete joke part... Yes, it is rather provocative, though not necessarily in a bad way. I mean, the next time you make a treaty, it will be much better, if not perfect altogether, right?

No treaty is perfect. Nations will always find a loophole or two. (me)

So you accepted our offer correct?

To: Lowlands:
From: Republican China:

Can you give us the general purpose of your offer?

To: Republican China
From: Lowlands

As we no longer follow the Treaty of Washington nor Haynes 14,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 points, we are not obliged to inform Republican China of the purpose of our offer with Great Britain.

To USCA, Great Britain, Russia:

Would anyone be interested in making us a vassal state?

No, I meant the offer to me.

To: Republic of China
From: UCSA

UCSA is not interested in any vassal states.

To: World
From: UCSA

The 14 Points within the Treaty of Washington was to ensure international peace, but if the nations want to stow it to hell, then they can do so without any complaints from UCSA. We do not want to create conflicts in order to stop the conflict. UCSA will apologize if we have offended any nation by our persistent requests for nations into signing it.

We'd recommend that you'd stay free and independent for the time being. A change in the situation in China away from the status quo could lead to a terrible war.

@ Nuclear Kid, would you like to pick who wins the elections for the Presidency of the Lowlands? After all, you are the super godly mod. :p

how are you saying I am god? I am nothing of that sort!

Go ahead and pick :)

With the numerous of voters coming in from Indonesia, the next president of the Republic of Lowlands is...

Danudirja Setiabudi

And

Joannes Benedictus van Heutsz

Professor Danudirja Setiabudi and Admiraal van de Vloot Joannes Benedictus van Heutsz, both of whom are members of the newly founded Labour Party of the Lowlands has triumphed over Charles Beerenbrouck and Hendrikus Colijn of the Christian Moderate Party. Professor Danudirja Setiabudi, now President Danudirja Setiabudi, the first Indonesia and Muslim elected to political post in the Lowlands history has said "Praise Allah for this. It has been a long time coming." Admiraal van de Vloot Joannes Benedictus van Heutsz has resigned from his post in the military and is now the Vice-President.

It remains to be seen how the white citizens of the Lowlands will react to have having the first Asian leaders in their history, not to mention the fact that he is not Christian, despite the no official religion clause in the Lowland's constitution.

What this does mean for the Lowlands is that they certainly end their short dabble with isolationism and opt for a more proactive foreign policy.

President Danudirja Setiabudi, in his victory speech has proclaimed, "I will seek a tariff-less world. We will join the League of Nations and make our presence felt. We will modernize Arabia and Indonesia and make this country great again! Praise be with Allah!"

The Labour Party also swept through Congress and owns 90 our of a possible 100 seats.

Current President Charles Beerenbrouck will serve out the remainder of his term. (Which means till the update :p)
