Nuke Nes: After Victoria

To Lowlands
From Great Britain

We proposed, you accepted, we do not need to reaccept as we proposed it in the first place.:p

Err, won't this skyrocket your dissent? Also, why allow votes from your commonwealths? No point, your president will govern the netherlands/lowlands.

OOC: I seriously don't think that the man would be saying 'Praise be with Allah' in these speeches. It's not the best idea in terms of national unity.

OOC: I honestly hope it won't. The Lowlands granted universal suffrage to all citizens of the Lowlands (Yes even women, Indonesians, whites, blacks, Jews, Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, Mexicans, Martians, Plutonians, Nuclear Kidians). And we basically consider the Indonesians full citizens of the Lowlands and not some colony. But, there are political aspects to this. Most of my dissent comes from *coughIndonesiacough* and the anti-war people. :p

This is why I kinda wanted Nuke to pick who'd win for realism, but oh well. :( I let the "voters" choose.

Well, I wouldn't have done it if I were you, but hey, were different people.

If they were full citizens, then Indonesia would be fully incorporated into the Nation/Empire. Not a Commonwealth.

If Great Britain had a parliment and voting was underway for a Prime Minister, Canada and Australia would have no say in who they wanted, only British citizens.
Likewise British citizens cannot vote for Canadian or Australian Prime Ministers.

Another question is: Why did Great Britain support the Imperialists? They are more liberal and republican than control hogs. That is meant as a compliment, although I am pretty sure germanicus will take it as an insult.

Yeah, Indonesia is no longer considered a colony by the Lowlands. I passed some law about this making Indonesia an official province of the Lowlands in my orders. :p

Who is this Imperialist you are talking about?

We are not supporting the Lowlands, and niether are we connected to China in any way now.

So please clear up who the Imperialists are.

Imperial China!

I believe I mentioned that I was not involved with China in any way. So please get your information correct by firing whoever is in charge of your intelligence agency.

From: UCSA

UCSA is not interested in any vassal states.

The 14 Points within the Treaty of Washington was to ensure international peace, but if the nations want to stow it to hell, then they can do so without any complaints from UCSA. We do not want to create conflicts in order to stop the conflict. UCSA will apologize if we have offended any nation by our persistent requests for nations into signing it.

To: USCA
From: Japan

It wasn’t that world wanted “to stow it to hell” It is more the issue that the powers who signed the treaty of Washington were not following the 14 points. Case in point your intervention in China next year.

To: World
From: Japan

In order to prevent nations from feeling constrained by the Treaty of Washington, we propose that the treaty be annulled by all powers who signed the treaty.

From: UCSA

Then, UCSA will be the first to do so. We will now declare the Treaty of Washington null and void. But this does not mean UCSA will go rampant and start attacking everyone. We will still follow the terms of the Treaty, but unofficially.

To World
From Great Britain

We annul the 14 points but keep the Treaty of Washington as that keeps Japan under control.

From: Republic of the Lowlands

Does this mean the arms limitations on Japan are now null as well?

Oh, yes. He is now pie target practice,;) I was addressing the USCA and Russia. Sorry for the mix up.

The only reason why UCSA supported the Imperial China was because they were attacked by communists, and gave economic aids to repel communist influences. If their economy improves, and standard of living, then they'll no longer be interested in communism.
