Texas has revolted against your rule. They have no desire to be a part of your nation and are willing to bravely fight a war of independence against a more powerful nation as we once did against Spain. The Texan people are brave, noble, and courageous and are deserving of their indpendence. Your "precious" Union is already in chaos and we suggest you deal with those areas and refrain from attack a stable nation such as Texas for it would be most contrary to our wishes to see our border areas destabilized in a Second American civil war and we would seek measures to prevent such destabilization of our borders from occurring.
