+ I don't have any Polish relatives nor do I know a lot about Poland, but every time I hear this tune, I feel fullfilled with some kind of patriotism. The melody is dramatic but dignified, and makes me think about the tragic history of the country but also about its heroic struggles. I love it.

- Where does the Moroccan music goes to? It seems like three different tracks attached to each other. First, the percussion is kinda funny but distracting; second, the main strings are nice but they clash with the third part, the woman's voice, which, while lovely, has nothing to do with the rest of the melody.

PS: I can vote again after 24 hours, is that right? :S

That could be the intention of the tone of the piece. China is known for its historical isolationism and neutrality, and the the music might intentionally convey a tone of non-interventionism. Like Wu says in her intro speech, "You leave us alone, we leave you alone."

Brazil- I love Pedro's peace theme. It feels so thoughtful and works well with his leaderscene as something you would want to play on a nice summer night as in your study.

Portugal- This just doesn't sound all that spectacular to me. It's rather passive and doesn't really ever become interesting.

I'm intentionally not counting the previous voter, because he didn't subtract anywhere.

I refuse to participate in this SHAM of a contest when you plebs have already eliminated Bismarck's peace theme. It's absolutely gorgeous and tragic and builds to such a wonderful point where it sounds like a calm before the storm, of the blood and steel to come. It's perfect for a nation with a history of hardship.

The chant of Byzantium I love so much I will listen to it outside of the game.

The huns opening is that great I would expect their peace to be more warlike to truthful because the Huns never really had so I expected their peace theme to be more tense egg cracking music plus I can barely hear it with Attila yelling at me for the first 10-15 seconds.

+ I have to give some credit to Askia: every time I start a game as him, his music gives me some kind of "dawn of man" feel which is simply amazing. This gambian song sounds very authentic, more so than the Celtic theme, and is just as relaxing.

- My first Civ 5 game was with Siam, and it was particularly obvious, even then, that the soundtrack improved greatly after Rammy's theme had ended. While the Asian music seems genuine, Siam's tune seems like something imagined by some occidental guy trying to figure out how that "exotic" land would be like. The dynamic is minimal too.

Arabia - 23
Assyria - 15
Austria - 11-3=8 the last Gods and Kings peace theme I usually listen to, I just find it uninteresting (Maybe cause it's based on Mozart's requiem)

Egypt - 11+1=12 it may sound minimalist, but this is based on ancient music, not sure if it was originally Egyptian, but it is from De Organographia's Music of the ancient Sumerians, Egyptians, and Greeks, the instruments sound like those depicted in the Egyptian murals (played by those ladies :p)
