Well, Stalinism very rapidly collapses into fascism. There's not much practical difference between saying that having babies is women's duty to the nation, the race, the working class, socialism, Christendom, etc, etc.

In fairness to Stalinism- and, jeez, but that's a way to start a sentence- they never totally abandoned the Old Bolshevik's offer of work outside the factory, they just got to what would in the West have been about 1968 and then ground to a halt. Recall that Ayn Rand was educated in the Soviet Union, and then came to America to be a professional weirdo.
