I never understood the American system with all those majors and what not. My B.SC is 4 years of pure engineering stuff. I googled EE undergraduate programs for various US universities and they're all filled with crap. I think you need a graduate degree in the US to have the education equivalent to a B.SC in Europe. It's weird.

Anyway, it doesnt really matter. What's important is that three years are down and only one to go.

Well I'm not sure, you just have to cram a whole lot into the 4 years in America. Generally, few people can manage to pull off actually getting an American EE degree in 4 years.

Well... I'm pretty geeky.
  • I've played quite a lot of boardgames (including day long marathons of Avalon Hill's Advanced Civilization).
  • I've played RPGs (and I'm not talking any silly computer games here). Latest character is a mutated badger with a flamberge.
  • I've gone to meets of people from different fantasy mailing lists (Robert Jordan, Terry Pratchett and Steven Brust).
  • I've been LARPing.
  • I'm making terrain and minis for table top games.
  • I own more than 500 SF/Fantasy books.
  • I'm making a Warhammer Mod for [c3c].
  • I've been working on a LotR Mod for [c3c] for more than two years.
Yeah, pretty geeky. I use to play [c3c] with my girlfriend too.

i used to play warhammer, alot. i liked the painting and gluing the minature together part more than the game itself.

it was very relaxing and creative. i still have my brushes, my cans of paint and a couple of armies stashed somewhere, i might take that hobby up again, although its 10 years since i played.

Ordered a magerita pizza, while playing a lan game of TA

the shame..

an this was last week

at least we did it outdoors on my rooftop garden :)

I've pretty much exhausted most of the APs in my school, and due to scheduling conflicts I couldn't fit anymore. However, I will give credit where credit is due, you nerd!

I could do a whole thread on why Advanced Civ is an unecessary expansion that really ruined the whole purpose of Civ, so I guess that's another proof of my geekiness ;)

I made my own versions of Magic the Gathering cards and put them on paper, and played with them by myself for a week.

Bah, crazy Frenchman! :p
Trading gets much more fun if there's two commodities available.
"Oh, you don't have any Grain to trade? Sorry, won't trade with you, Civil War person."

Two commodities can really hurt the game with not enough players, because they will introduce an arbitrary and random effect on the game.

Two words: calculator watch
