I think das said any variation of China/Dynasty/Empire could be used. I misspelled it Xing and have corrected it to Xin.

Though it seems to me that only a very bad emperor would claim to rule anything but All Under Heaven, and thus Zhongguo/China would be what the nation would refer to itself as. I think you should be deliberately confusing in your diplomacy and do this.

Don't shy away from applying for a nation just because someone else already has. Just have a second (and possibly third) choice in mind.

I plan on doing this later, but to avoid confusion I'll refer to myself as Xin Ming OOC. But yeah, curse those Portuguese, Japanese, and Manchu for claiming our rightful lands.
