This vote is just a second one because I missed my vote yesterday.

TROLLOLOL. That's not the way that the game works. You snooze, you lose.

Spoiler :
If we played the way that you are suggesting, someone who has yet to vote could just downvote the entire list in a single vote so that there is an automatic winner, due to all of the "unused" downvotes that they would have "accumulated." Elimination games are context sensitive and people vote based on the current list and knowing the limits of how many others can vote. Doing what you are suggesting completely changes the dynamic of the game into something quite different.

Thorvald was doing it a ton a few days ago- if it's a single day, fine. If you'd like I could just repost that one after midnight, it won't really make a difference. :p

This game only says "1 turn every 24 hours," which we have to interpret as meaning "on turn every day (24 hour period), within your own timezone." So, yes, twice in the same day within your timezone is against the rules.

6 hours apart or even 1 minute apart, if you do your votes on different days within your timezone, would be allowed.

Voting twice in one day to "make up for a missed vote" isn't allowed. Voting twice within a short period of time as long as one vote is in one day and the other vote is in another day, using your time zone, is allowed.

But you know that already, otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned it. If it makes you feel any better, there hasn't been a single player in this game that voted on every single day. Live with it and keep the game fair and thus fun. Thanks.

Last time we had this discussion we agreed that the key here was that the consistent ratio of 1 vote to 24 hours was maintained- people sometimes vote earlier, sometimes vote later. Thus, if someone votes at 23:00 on Day 1, then at 1:00 on Day 3, and at 23:00 on Day 3, it's still reasonable as a vote per day. Naturally, doing 5 votes in a day is ludicrous, but small corrections are entirely fair and in keeping with the game.

...Oh my God, I'm so sorry. Yes I read the OP, and somehow the 24-hour rule completely slipped me.

That said, Alberta must die. :p

at 1:00 on Day 3, and at 23:00 on Day 3
No, you're missing the point entirely. But I don't need to make a case for it, which I already have done but you chose to ignore, since the rules are clear on the matter: 1 vote max per day.

As I said, it's clear that you understand this fact or you would not have brought up the subject. If you want to change how the game is played, do so at the start of a game, not when it's down the final few turns.
