Women can already go topless in Columbus.

And also in Canada.

But I haven't seen a single woman actually exercise that right so thus far society has not fallen apart.

What if you are surroned by naked people on a train?

Where do you look then?

If nudity had become so common and accepted that an entire train car of people were naked then likely it wouldn't offend you that much either.

According to Wikipedia it's alreagy legal at least in Vermont. While I agree that it can lead to very unesthetic sights I see no real reason to ban nudity in general. Of course there are places where hygiene would require you to have some cloths but unless that is the case I don't see a problem.

I knew you could in Ontario...

I've seen women go topless twice. Ironically, both were in connection to supposed 'social ills' Once, a local strip club had their dancers hand out flyers downtown topless. The other time(s) were at the gay parade.

I don't care. even if you decriminalize nudity it's not like all of a sudden no one is going to wear clothes again. There is no law that says you have to wear more than underwear and yet people still wear more so there's no reason to believe if you let people legally go naked they'll just stop wearing clothing.

Doesn't disturb me one bit as long i'm not forced to be naked myself, which won't occur as I don't go in such places. There is a couple beaches, camping and other tiny villages, here that you can only go if you are naked, "les naturistes". Though you will be allowed in certain cases to be partially naked.

Topless women on beaches, squares, are regarded as perfectly normal behaviour. It is however forbidden to do it, even for men in the streets. I've seen cases of people fined because they were topless (men), even in coastal area. Find the irony yourself.

To the OP, does "Live and let live", shall we?

Nudity is an elusive concept. The more that is uncovered, the more the definitions change to allow it it in proper dress. In equiptorial regions are not most women topless? Dress and ecorum are two different things.

well if monkeys can we should be able to

well if monkeys can we should be able to

Since when did the human race become equal to monkeys?

I say that public nudity should not be legal, however private establishments should have full control over nudity within their building(s).

Yes, but what about the neigbours who have to see him?

Should be have the right to be naked on their own land right beside the sidewalk, where all can see his body, whether they want to or not?

But I do think people should have the right to be naked inside their own homes, as long as the curtains are closed.

But what about FBI Agents who might have installed surveillance cameras? Or Police serving an arrest warrant? Or a burglar breaking in to rob you? ZOMG The horror! the trauma! The Social Anarchy that could ensue!

The naked body is natural and normal. Sure some are unattractive, but some peoples faces are ugly too and I can look at those without complaining.

Only for WOMEN, ?<=NORMAL BMI, ?<=35yo, >Moderately Attractive, in summer, while jogging/running/on trampolines/doing any physical activity. Illegal but not punished for >35<40 yo, moderately atractive women, illegal and punishable for men, fat chicks, and old mothers who are not a four letter word.

Selective enough?

Oh, and they must be in good physical condition. NO annorexic women with bones sticking out showing off her ribcage.

in case you cant tell Im joking

It is not mine nor anyone elses place to tell adults what they should and shouldn't do with their own bodies,

I think someone is yanking your chain; Spain is probably one of the least likely European countries to allow such a thing.

I don't know if that bother us too much as to discuss about legalizing it at a municipal level but I can tell you that in the beach I used to go (Zarauz) I saw nude sunbathers. They used to lay in one end of the beach, not separated by any wall, wire or warning signs at all, close to a restaurant owned by a famous cook who used to have a TV program where he taught how to cook. Sometimes he cooked at the porch outside the restaurant with that particular part of the beach in the background. Nobody spotted a nudist in his TV program, though.

I have never heard of anybody being arrested for being naked in that beach, so I guess that I was allowed, or if it was a law against, it wasn't enforced.

I haven't been around the mediterranean beaches in a long time, but I have heard that topless sunbathing is pretty common over there.

The main problem is most people who will walk around naked aren't the people I want to see naked. I'll admit to walking around my own apartment in my underwear or nothing at all, but in public you have to think of the children, who aren't emotionally mature enough to see either sex naked. In this case you have to revert to the lowest common denominator.

Yes it should be allow.

nudity is fairly common in hot tropical countries where the tribal ppl decided to think that its cooler not to wear any clothes. If ppl are allow to be topless in beach, why not other places ?? by having a human restriction on what to wear just doesnt make sense.

Well, looking on the bright side. it does stop suicide bombing and school shooting...
