And I'm not unhappy at all with who was voted off of Survivor.

I called my usual traditional massager, he is much better than any physiotherapist combine, now I can sit down and walkaround, tomorrow he will come again.

My wife is a nurse and used to work in A&E (sorry - ER to you Americans) - I'm sure she must be able to write a book on all the stories she has brought home.

Most of them seem to involve objects being placed in such places where objects shouldn't be placed!

Canada rules are different on many things. But I've never seen any of the brand names, or even heard of it, here. And Wiki indicates it's by prescription.

Although I have been told that other NSAID type pain relievers are better than acetaminophen for joint and muscle pains. Generic names ibuprofen and naproxen sodium.

This stupid woman walked into the ER last night with a cough, swearing up and down that she only had a cold and hadn't been traveling. In the interest of not having her sit in the waiting room coughing on people and freaking them out, she was led to a room for examination. During the examination, she tells the attending that she had actually just gotten off a plane from Florida in the past couple of days. She didn't want to wait in the waiting room, or in one of the testing centres.

Thankfully I wasn't involved in that one. I was elsewhere, but now we have two nurses and a doctor having to self isolate, and part of the ER had to be closed and scrubbed just because of one person's selfish stupidity. We can't afford to lose doctors and nurses right now.

I have no faith in human nature anymore.

Have you been pressed into service in the ER/general care? Or is it normal for you to pick up shifts like that? I thought you were in mental health.

Have you been pressed into service in the ER/general care? Or is it normal for you to pick up shifts like that? I thought you were in mental health.

Specialists are being pressed into ER service, yeah. That isn't totally unusual (you'll see it after big accidents) but it's definitely more excessive right now. So just keep in mind that if you need to be intubated now, it might be getting done by a gynecologist.

Also, psychiatrists go through med school. They get the same base education as any other doctor. They also have to go through residency.

It's more a developmental issue, but it is a frustrating issue when your similar industry gets regulated under different standards, is called to compete on the open market, bears primary retaliation when different industries complain about the open market... And the same doofs that get super sensy about language about everyone else crawl up your entire collective ass anytime there's a screw up at home. Ah w/e. I'm not dealing well with being shut-in. I'm going to wind up with rolling tobacco next time I go out, I think.
