I doubt that. On the other hand, my ability to do most Sudoku puzzles certainly does not translate to competence with crossword puzzles.

Yea. People think I'm smart because I talk a lot in the classes that interest me. Funny thing how this extends to the classes where I am either distracted or actively ignoring the lecture. Like this Monday we had a short test in Descriptive Grammar, we corrected it afterwards and while we were doing so some people I hadn't ever even talked to asked me what I had answered in some question pointing out to his friend that I am 'very intelligent' while in the first test I scored a 5 out of 10. Granted that I scored a 8.75 out of 10.

Funny thing how my prescription hasn't increased in ... 5 years? 6? I can't tell. And I'm 21, it should have. I'm glad it didn't, though.

That was the case for me until about a year ago. My eyesight is now noticeably worse and I'll probably need new glasses, but haven't yet because no money.

... not that I mind, actually. I'm at probably the only point in my life where I actually would like worse eyesight for a reason.

Rarity of rarities, this is a problem that can actually be solved by sufficient ranting and raving.

Just saw a commercial for Gamefly and it made me a little angry. They used all children in their ad, thus perpetuating the stereotype that only children play video games. Never mind that the average age of those who identify as gamers is 30 and an ever increasing amount of games are geared towards adults rather than children. But no, video games aren't a form of adult entertainment at all. It's just something to keep the little kiddies occupied.
