I misplaced a book from the uni library. :(

I hope I can find it.

Man, what a mess.
But good that nothing really bad happened :).

And go for it. There's nothing to lose.

@Phrossack: All the requirements are exaggerated by at least 50%, just to scare of the people who have really no qualification.
If you have some skills, which are necessary, then apply.
You'll fit somewhere.

Exam starts in 40 minutes
There's a good chance it'll end in utter failure

Why am I posting this
And here I am again
Well it's an hour and a quarter left, but still
I am even worse prepared for this one
My life is going to be even more over than before

You know what, when I woke up today it dawned on me that the exam I thought I had for 11th January was in two hours. I simmed through the class powerpoints, and I think it went well (no chance to repeat the first essay's mark, but I think I'll get a decent grade).

I'm surprised you took the thing. If I know I'm going to fail, I don't bother turning up. Unless, I don't know, there's some kind of requirement to do so to qualify for a resit - or whatever.

Have you ever thought of doing some work to prepare for it?

Why not? Because that only wastes another 3 hours of my time. Plus travelling time.

Why do you turn up? Because you think it's possible to "wing it"?

It's really unlikely that a doable paper will just fall into your lap without you having any prior knowledge to apply to it, in my opinion and experience.

I have tried turning up for exams in subjects I knew nothing about. It never worked out well.

As for there being "too much", it pays to start earlier.

Put it down to experience, is my advice (such as it is - take it or leave it). And know better next time.

Also, pick your subjects with more care and consult a professional advisor.

Well, i made plans with someone but i think the plans are off but have no way to confirm

I dont understand people. Why is it so hard

Everything is wasted time
there is no unwasted time
there is nothing to gain by not going

I had no idea how it would be

I don't think about probabilities

Guess i maybe could have opted out, I don't know how these things work

most subjects are mandatory. The few that aren't I have to pick between two or three options

Yea everything went wrong

am trying a terrible coffee too (stumptown cold brew)

sorry to do this or whatever but I've never failed any test before and i really don't know what to do
I could study all day erryday during christmas to prepare for continuation exams or whatever but I don't wannnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and I don't think I could do it anyway

seriously I really don't know what I should do
should I give up on BECOMING ANYTHING in life I wonder

I don't know why I stayed up to 1:30 when I have to wake up at 5:30 for work

Because you're young and vital still? :)

I don't know why I stayed up to 1:30 when I have to wake up at 5:30 for work

An age and an age ago, I was playing the original Sid Meiers' Pirates. When I found myself getting really tired, I looked over at the clock. It was 3 a.m. Oh no! I have to get up in three hours and go to work. :wallbash:

I had to go to sleep at 6 pm with sleepy pills to be able to wake up at 5.30 am.

Now I dont have to wake up so early, but my contract ends in January so then I need to try find other hours :(

I hate these guys...:gripe:

Microsoft Makes Windows 10 'Free Upgrades' Worse

"Choice. After all the software improvements, promotional offers and good intentions, ‘choice’ is the big factor Microsoft MSFT +0.00% forgot to consider with Windows 10. Falling adoption rates have seen the company’s initial smugness evolve into incredulity and increasingly dirty tactics and now Microsoft appears to have forgotten about respecting choice entirely because life for Windows 7 and Windows 8 users is about to get a lot worse…"

Disgusting. :cringe: :shake: :vomit:

Seems the lady was really not interested.
She said last week that she didn't have time, but suggested this week. I then said okay, but not the weekend, because I'm not here, to which she replied that that's okay, she's also not here.
I asked yesterday, and oh, what a surprise, she forgot to mention that she's already going home on Thursday (so today).
Damn, I was really interested in here :/.

And related to that, I yesterday met one of the other interesting girls again, but somehow missed a good opportunity to ask for her number :/.
Good part is that we'll most likely meet somewhere at New Year's eve, because there's basically only one big party around (meh).
