They're trying to teach you a valuable lesson about life: How to lie, and then fake it til you make it.

Colleges are bullying me!!!!!!!!!

Well, more like they're asking, "Are you an awesome, fun, hardworking, dedicated, independent, nice, caring, involved, etc." individual. And I feel inferior because I'm not sure if I am.

The answer is "yes" to all of them but first prove it to yourself. I suggest writing a brag sheet as long as you can telling all the stories and reasons why you are the best and unique. You can even pull from it directly for some of your apps.

Doing that helped me crush the college app game.

I procrastinated heavily today, which didn't pay.

And I'm beginning to despair about my chances to pass this semester. I guess it's fairly probable I won't flunk, but I have serious doubts I can get even alright grades, which stresses me.

And I have this feeling I'm an idiot and a [cfc didn't use to censor this]

Also I'm afraid I'll probably get cancer when I get older

Too much meat? Don't worry, we all die one day. What matters is that it should look natural.

Today has been a kind of meh day. I was rejected from tabletop the game I was hoping to join. I had set up a skype chat with the GM, and things were going well, but when he learned I had no tabletop experience, he said no. He wasn't mean about it, saying that I seemed cool, but this campaign he was running would be difficult for a newbie, and that he would contact me in the future if he ever ran anymore dungeons that were friendlier to noobs or if I had more experience. I was kind of hurt at the rejection, but his logic made sense, and I shrugged it off, saying sometimes things didn't work out.

What I find weird was that he was impressed by the way I handled the rejection. Did he expect me to be bitter or say anything passive aggressive or express my displeasure?

I'm done! (Throws resume in the trash...)

I just spent over 30 hours working on a take home test. I had 2 hours of sleep and now I have to go to class.

No, it's that it seems cancer runs through the family. I think 3 of my grandparents have had cancer.
I'm semi-alright with death, but not by cancer, killing me earlier than I could have lived.

Oh, my. I'm a bit concern because my grandmother hd cancer then my mother had big lump on her neck which in the end wasn't malignant, but they only saw it after they took it out so now she's on hormones and calcium for the rest of her life because they took away her thyroid.

£280 just to plumb in a washing-machine!

Mind you, I did have visions of having to completely re-jig the entire kitchen, so maybe I should be grateful.

My sister's computer has been causing problems lately. We were on the phone with a guy about it for hours yesterday. At first he seemed convinced that the problem was a virus that had integrated itself with the operating system and was making most features inaccessible. After I finally managed to find a way to access System Restore, I got an error message which convinced him that the real problem was that the hard drive was dying. (That is what the guy at BestBuy originally guessed, but they would have charged more to look into fixing it than the machine was worth).

We were thinking of buying a new laptop online from the company of the guy who was on the phone with us for hours, but ended up just getting one from BestBuy so we could have it on the same day. (She was a little upset that is lacks a numpad, but really liked that it is a 2-in-in tablet laptop with a decent processor, plenty of ram, and a solid state hard drive.) We purchased an opened box refurbished display model, due to a significant discount, but that meant we could not just grab one off the rack and walk out with it. We had to wait on the salesmen, who just kept ignoring us and wasting our time.

My sister hadn't thought she really had enough time before work (teaching ESL at a community college). I convinced her she did, but might have been wrong since the workers there were so slow an inattentive. She left early, but still might not have had time to use the copying machine before starting the first day of a new class.

After getting back home I found that the left click button on my mouse stopped working. I had an extra button that I reprogrammed to act as left click, but it is taking a while to get used to it.

logged onto fb, blaring me in the face is FB telling me that it's my recent ex gf's bday and I should help her celebrate. We didn't even let fb know we were dating. Now am in bad mood.

But which part has you more bummed out: being reminded of your ex, or pretty much having it confirmed that corporations and possibly the government are monitoring your every move?

The former, but the creepier part about the latter was that our fb communication was pretty limited and we never listed ourselves in a relationship.
