But then won't I basically be trying to dehumidify the outside too? If I close up the windows it gets super hot anyway so I'd be better off just running the AC.A portable dehumidifier would be useful in this situation. I don't think they cost all that much.
Maybe growing some plants that look nice and absorb humidity would help ? (not everything needs to be high tech

It is a good disk - it worked really well for me approx. 10 years (give or take 2). Now I'm just using DOS Box (Master of Magic works like a charm)
