You're not missing anything. It's just a cruddy cartoon that makes absolutely no sense.
In 2 weeks I'll be visiting my GF. Well planned in advance, good flight times, good price.
Now my GFs house mate changed something, so I'll have the option to either a) sleep for 2 nights on the couch or b) change my flights, which will cost me more and will double to triple the flight time due to at least one layover.
Now I'm mad

whenever I stroll around mods or rom hacks, when the word "balance" is mentioned, I directly feel repulsed. There is an implicit form of gamer flexing in that words, usually, like 80% of the time, when the words "balance" is mentioned it will continue with "darker night", "double enemy hp", "decrease weapon speed", "balancing the damage of x weapon, decrease it to y amount", "enemy is easier to detect your character", "poison is more potent", "level up harder", "status get trimmed" etc.
Grow up in 90s where games was hard, but this level of skill flexing is beyond me, and putting the words "balance" instead of "hardcore" and "harder" is just ugh.
And for some game, the "balance" is not going through proper testing it makes the difficulty so steep as it's too painful to play, sometime even impossible. Smh, I don't know why, it just makes me so ugh, I shouldn't but I can't avoid that feeling of repulse.
