New lightbulbs I got make my apartment look like it's the set for a new horror slasher.
Maybe it's the kind of horror film where the main character finds out that he has been the killer all along. You don't have any obnoxious housemates anymore, right?
(because in that case it might be a hint...)
Despite living here for >15 years, nearly every year I forget about Pfingstmontag (Whit Monday), which is (still*) a public holiday in Germany. The Saturday just before the last one (two weeks ago), I mentioned something about taking some leftovers to work on Monday, and my wife rolled her eyes and remarked that next year, if I needed reminding again, she'll just let me go off to work without saying anything...I didn't realize until I was almost at work that today is a holiday.
Lame.....*In my defence, (1) Whit Monday hasn't been a public holiday in the UK since 1970, according to Wikipedia, so it never affected me while I was going through school, (2) for the following 10 years, I worked customer-service jobs 6-10 days on, 1 day off, so public holidays never applied — and (3) most public holidays here are on fixed dates, and if that date happens to fall on a weekend this year, well that's just tough: no day off!
You are spying on her?!a possibly new guy might be 50% older than her
I believe he is still friends with her and she tells him about these things, either unknowing or uncaring about The J's true intentions/feelings.You are spying on her?!
