I dislike when software comes with no documentation, online-only documentation, or just uses the help file to tout how awesome the software is without providing any information on how to use the stupid thing.

Ugh, every time I try to play Team Fortress 2 it says it needs to update but doesn't actually do anything because it says "content servers unreachable" or something and I can't play.

I want my hats, damnit!
Ya gotta keep kicking Steam in between the legs for it to work :p.

The Puritans are some of the most drab and awful people I've ever had the displeasure of having to learn about.

And I have a whole course on them...

Care to elaborate?

There was a challenge to a NSW consorting law, whereby it's a criminal offence for certain people to associate with certain other people, and it was held to be a valid law, because there is no constitutional freedom to associate.

Oh, woah, that is quite a worrying thing to hear about from a supposedly civilised nation such as Australia.

Well, considering the flora and fauna living there, it's not exactly friendly/civilised place.

College plus procrastination equals not sleeping ever

and yet I feel fine

I know that feel. I blame Paradox.

im worn out

Why? (both)

Rant: Had progress meeting (regarding my project) with my professor.
Well, sort of my professor. That guy is never here, doesn't have a clue. The associate professor is basically dealing with everything.
What he said boils down to "These manuscripts are nice, but what about your project?".
Seriously, if he had any freakin' idea what's going on (and he's supposed to know at least a bit), then he'd know that this project will never going to get close to the theoretical outline. So he went on my nerves how I'm going to incorporate X (theoretical main goal) into the project, and I tried to indicate that it's unlikely to ever happen, but that Y will make a good theme.
He doesn't get it.
We have a meeting about it in 3 weeks or so again.
I'm looking soooo forward to that :/.

Unrelated:
Tax office got back to me.
Seems they now reduced the amount of payback money they want to only one monthly salary instead of two.
I'm not sure if I should be happy about that.

Further unrelated:
Seems we have new neighbours. With a dog. Seems the dog doesn't like the appartment.
*grrr*

2 hours of cricket training and a 40 minute indoor soccer game tonight, plus a 55 minute walk predominantly uphill after indoor soccer to get home, plus a corked thigh.

Hey, that sounds good (besides the last thing), no idea why you're ranting about that.

bad night. mood swing downwards.

Ah, yeah, know that.
Doing something productive then most often helps, from my experience.

I bought Victoria2 last Friday. All Victoria saga products were bundled for just 6€.

I started playing on Sunday or Monday. Paradox, I want my life back!

Oooh you picked a bad game in terms of if you want to have a life. Though Vicky II might not have the largest fanbase of PI's grand strategy titles, it has the most loyal - that is, those who do play it tend to stick around longer, for better or worse. ;)

So far I like it a lot. I am Belgium, rank 6th and I got in a war for Sinai against Egypt. The UK joined and so far the war has lasted some 2 years and I have twice the Warscore I need for my Wargoal.

Goddamned UK.
