There's someone on campus who I am trying to avoid, and it bothers me, because I want to be comfortable around her, but she just weirds me out. It bothers me that I can't relate to her at all. I can relate to everyone else, just not her.

Dude, I used to attract girls like that all the time -- making myself too accessible. Try to congregate in a public social settings, which may curb the weirdness.

At least when you're around her, anyway.

Having that dark cloud over one's head or having that eternal frown can be slightly beneficial sometimes.

Rant: Every time a new rants thread gets under way, I keep kicking myself over August or so of last year (August 2012), when the 1000th post spot was wide open for literally about six hours, and I had a seemingly great title idea, but I seriously could not come up with a legitimizing rant to claim it.

The legitimate rant (that you couldn't think of a legitimate rant) was staring you in the face all the time.

Does that make you feel any better? I don't expect it does. :cruel_smirk:

Rolla gets three different local news stations; one out of Springfield, one out of Columbia and another out of St. Louis. The problem is that we are at the extreme edge of all 3 ao the 'local news' is anything but local. Worse still, the weather reports from these stations is tangentially related to our weather at best. Where is my thunderstorm!?
