Not really a rant since it didn't affect me, but it's not a positive thing so I'll post it here. Another school in my district today had a power outage, a natural gas leak, and a bomb "threat" all in under an hour, and the 1400 people who go there had to evacuate and got bused 5 miles away to spend 75% of the school day in my school's auditorium. Which I could have sworn can't actually hold that many people, but they somehow managed to get it to work.

So google tells me there's a good chance of snow on Friday. I'm kinda excited at the prospect of an actual winter, yet at the same time, I currently only have my summer clothes (incl. a thin jacket) with me, with my autumn clothes in the post, due to arrive sometime this week. I have absolutely no proper winter clothes (to be honest, I don't even know what I need. Boots? A proper jacket?). So I'm unprepared and may freeze to death.
