And that's a Rant?

Well, now more people know about it. Divulging science and culture is ahrd work these days when too many people follow Miley Cyrus and her… ilk.

So I'm not someone? I know that I'm not just anyone, but still…

Yes, you are a nobody. :p Considering that more people complained about Greek Numbers than Roman ones, shows more people don't care too much about Greek numbers. I don't see how they are useful in modern society.

I'm totally tempted to pull the 'wait for two posters to post before posting again' technicality on you Takhisis for your use of those numerals. And yellow angry face? :shake:

I am sad about the numeral title too :/

Why did you use the latin stolen Euboean letter so as to type the beautiful N'?

I mean, it is not obvious to all that you used the "latin" one, since it is the same as the superior Greek one. But i am pretty sure you used the latin, so you should be ashamed

Rant: A noisy, crowded, smelly house, an excess of work, a shortage of time, and dozens more problems, most of which have no realistic solution. Just bloody wonderful. Why do I wake up in the morning?

Rant: Latin numerals aren't esoteric enough.

Do it. Let the hate flow through you. Strike down this abomination of a thread title and take your place at the awesome people's side!

They are very good at numbering threads in a clearly identifiable way, as well as being more graceful.

Copy the character from the thread title and paste it into Wikipedia. Then see whether you get a redirection to Νυ or to N.
I'm angry this thread's icon is the same color as the raves one, how am I supposed to tell them apart at a glance?
By reading the thread title.

It is working! The perpetuum mobile! The rants thread that generates rants by itself!
Passing over to the dark side...
Better the black of the clergy than the red of the Stalinist oppressors…

I refuse to read! I'm a college student, I've done enough reading for a lifetime! I will never read! Never again!
I'm a university student and I deal with reading. It gets easier with time.

Humanities FTW.
Nú means ''Naked'' in Portuguese. :mischief:
So? The name of the Greek letter is pronounced the same way as a certain word which some knights pronounced in a Monty Python film.

Humanities as well (technically Humanities/Social Science, double majoring in History and International Studies - but both have tons of reading of course), but it's the opposite for me - reading gets harder and harder. Well, what I mean is that it's not hard to read, I can read fine and dandy (and extremely speedily compared to my peers) if I must but it's just so much easier for me to get unbearably bored with any sort of reading I come across these days, regardless of whether it's something assigned in class or something fun I want to read in my free time.

Suppose it's just I have extremely strict standards for what kinds of reading I find interesting and engaging.
