Each year , 2 students from each class would be assigned to a branch , that particular year ı must have been in some technology thing , basically some sort of club activity where future engineers would meet with students from different classes , teaching kids to find common points of interest and whatnot to develop social skills . Am pretty sure he brought one magazine to my two or three and refused to find the time to bring the balance and rejected my thing that we were supposed to read and return . time for G . This social activies class was a lark , the smart students solved tests for university exams . One of the years , ı was in chess with the guy ı shared the same desk at regular class . We naturally played chess , that was the whole essence of the chess branch , right ? Just fun , not a desire to keep score . It got fast , we played 2 or 3 games inside the 45 minutes of the time allotted . Next time , this high schooler (because as an 8th year student at the time ı was a middle schooler) got an interest in us and dragooned me over my objections to represent the Anatolian High in the provincial championships . He was the one to do so for 9th to 11th years , he talked with the teachers to accept r16 the idiot . Despite the teachers' opposition . Finally he got his checkmate , refused to answer my congragulations , because you know , they were this higher class of people . The contempt from his teacher , too , though he was quite dumbfounded for 10 minutes or so . ı actually cried a few tears on my way to the bus stop , walking down the street in front of the "girls' highschool" though the inner voice assured me that he had checked that the street was totally empty before tormenting me for effect . The school was very normal with the extra laughter in the eyes of the maths teacher ...
